Bathroom door couldn’t be closed without running the risk of getting fingers caught in between the door and the wall (as happened very painfully twice). The bathroom had been poorly renovated - a total mess around the door frame. It is $16 to park overnight in the hotel car park (which is essentially on the side of a highway). Staff wore black latex gloves to serve food in the restaurant.

Room service came in and woke me up at 8AM on a Sunday morning, when check out was supposed to be for noon. Front desk later than came back around at 10:30 checking in to see if we were checking out. I found it extremely weird, annoying and pestering the amount I was bothered by the staff during my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! Employees were friendly, room size was kind of compact but good, the gym was great and the grounds were beautiful-right on the river. We are glad we chose to stay here!

When booking a hotel, one expects a certain level of comfort and service—especially at a well-known chain like the Boston Marriott. Upon arrival, we faced our first challenge. The room we booked was at the opposite end of the hall from the elevator—definitely not ideal for my elderly mother. No assistance offered. When we requested a different room, we were moved to one halfway down the hall. Still no offer of assistance. The new room came with all the scenic charm of a brick wall. And we were charged the same rate as if we had the picturesque view. To add to our joy, we discovered that our new floor was the unofficial party floor. With no soundproofing to our knowledge, we were treated to late-night revelries until the wee hours of the morning. Who needs a sleep soundtrack when you can enjoy the live concert of “Drunken Conversations and Clanging Doors, not to mention other nighttime activities”? Now, I’ll admit the decor was lovely, and the rooms were generally clean—until we discovered a glass by the ice bucket, adorned with lipstick prints that were neither my mother's or mine. It’s disconcerting when paying top dollar comes with a side of questionable hygiene. Thank you. Suggestions: Assistance Inquiring at Check-In Room Assignment Consideration Investing in Soundproofing Guest Rooms

No sleep - college kids partying in room next to u
People in room next to ours had an all-night party which ended at 5:30 am. Likely college kids for an away team playing BC or one of the area colleges. We got very little sleep. Person working at the Starbucks in the lobby was crabby and didn’t smile.

The room was fine, although we did not get the king bed we requested but rather 2 queens. (We checked in at 9:30 pm and were told the king bed rooms were still being cleaned.) The room did not have USB ports, which is unusual nowadays. Having to pay for parking, given the suburban nature of the location and large lot, seemed gratuitous.

Great Hotel
Room was extremely clean, beds are super comfortable, the service was impeccable especially with Farah always taking care of anything we needed! When we come back to Boston will definitely return to this hotel!
