Overall it was okay, but not what I expected from a flagship Marriott Hotel nor what I paid per night for the room. Bed was okay, but not great, all the windows had a film on them making them cloudy. Hallways and rooms could use a refresh. Again, Overall it was not bad, just did not meet the expectations I had at $300-$400/night from a Marriott Flagship.

The room was clean although it had a stale smell. Perhaps taking all the carpet up would help. The bar and all staff at the hotel were amazing. The food was very well presented.

First thing first. Lobby area will fool you. This hotel hasent been updated in probably 10-15+years. I got fooled with pictures and when we arrived it looked very old and made me regret staying here. Hallways are hammered, wall paper is sagging, holes in walls and the rooms don’t get better. Bathroom area was just painted over rust area and caulked over. Rust all over the shower arm holder. You can hear everything from other floors and guest. For $4-500 a night in October please stay somewhere else because this isn’t the place. When we came home one night for dessert a mouse ran past the kitchen and staff just looked as if it’s normal. Super slow service no one was are actual waiter we had to just ask a person walking by if we could order. World Series game wasn’t on tv because they don’t have the station. The people who check you in and everything cleaner wise are super friendly but the actual hotel is what I’m paying for and it’s a step above a motel. Wouldn’t ever recommend this place and won’t stay here again

Marriot in Peabody was awesome. It was comfy and cozy, staff was exceptional. The rooms were ready once we arrived at 11am. They supplied us with clean items everyday. Easy check in and easy check out. The bar is very slow even though there was 6 people there and 3 staff members. We tried the bar Friday and again Saturday…. Friday night it was only two of us at the bar and 2 staff members…. It took forever to get drinks. We ended up leaving. But other than that, we loved it. Loved going to Salem too

Breakfast service could have been better. One of my friends waited 45 mins for her meal while we all had ours and finished and she just got hers. All meals had something wrong that we didn’t order. Only two people working so it made things a lot slower.. overall food was great for lunch and breakfast. I had the avacado toast Would stay again!

Loved the friendly staff. The Halloween decor was super elaborate and fun. The room was comfortable and clean. Very close to Salem and nearby areas. Right off the highway so easy arrival and departure.

The property was nice but the rooms are outdated The carpet made the rooms feel dirty For a property in such an ideal spot it should be updated like many other Marriott properties We asked for housekeeping but never saw one person and the room was never cleaned We were there for 4 nights

Was told over the phone complimentary breakfast but when I arrived at Marriott and asked again they said no ! The food at Sofias was not good n the server was more worried about closing his tabs and getting tips than being present and attentive to his guests.
