My room was offered at quite a discount I wonder if that’s why it smelled like a locker room when I opened the door The room was clean but I did not appreciate housekeeping hurrying me along at 8:45 am with a knock on my door to see if I was out of the room yet Next I was sent a $20 invoice for parking which I did not expect and do not agree to There is no choice but to park on property and this seems a relatively new gated entrance Pluses if none of this bothers you- Well trained and courteous front desk staff Clean and well appointed room - if you don’t mind the smell I’m beyond disappointed and will be withdrawing from Bonvoy everywhere And … I won’t be back

These are improvements that would perfect the experience.. the sink was clogged before we used it. The cleaning staff should test the taps when they are cleaning certainly. There was make it yourself coffee tea in the room but useless if you actually like real milk ior half and half in your tea. No microwave in room .. really. I prefer a nice ready to go coffee / tea station with real cream /milk in the lobby from 5 or 6 am on the house . Internet should be quick and thrown in without all the hassle of joining a club and giving out information. The parking was pretty full and required a complex system of punching in your room key etc.. and a long walk back to the hotel.. especially late at night for a woman on her own . Not ideal These are just niggling things that felt a bit like death from a thousand paper cuts. Why spoil a stay in a gorgeous hotel with all this nonsense? everything else was so excellent. The beds were amazing .. the temperature control excellent.. soundproofing great. Lobby beautiful bathroom had updated fixtures and huge shower .

We always go to Marriot Quincy when visiting our family- about 9 times/year. What annoys us is that they charge for WiFi if we do not book directly through the hotel, they charge $20/night for parking, and this lasat time, our room was not cleaned for one of the days of our stay.

I booked a room with a king size bed. Apon checking in, I was given my key card and went to room 744. I opened the door and there were two queen beds. Went back downstairs to front desk and told them and they moved me to room 525. Well, the first thing I did was opened the curtains to find a horrible, filthy window (see pic). I had a wonderful view that I could not enjoy and also had company over and was embarrassed. On Friday August 1st I was checking out with a check out time of 11:00. Housekeeping came by at 8:20 and proceeded to knock on my door and entered the room. Told them I was sleeping, then came back at 9:20 and did the same thing. I was there after being away for a bit and could not enjoy my stay

My only disappointment with this property is that for the price they want to charge you for the rooms it is extra to park, extra for Internet, and there’s definitely nothing free. The other hotel chains offer all the above, which includes breakfast all at no additional charge. Hotel was clean and the customer service was acceptable.
