Not a great stay. Check-in was good. Room was small and dated. "Historical" is nice, but it's needs renovated. No fridge or microwave although the cabinet had a big empty space for a fridge. Fire alarm went off at 6 A.M. and had to evacuate. It was a false alarm. Was stuck awake for several hours after the scare. Called for a late checkout and they said they couldn't give anymore, I should have called earlier. If it was just a random call for a late checkout, fine, but if something at your hotel causes a major disruption of your guests stay you should do your best to make it right. You are in the hospitality industry it seems like common sense to me.

Everything was fine. I was surprised at the $69 charge to park the car overnight. Also, $30 and $75 surcharges. we only stayed 14 hours. did not use any of the services.

The property was under construction, and the lobby was a construction zone. The rooms were extremely dated and falling apart. In addition, they had one of those sneaky resort fees that in the fine print that Congress is trying to outlaw due to deceptive practices. Bottom line, would not stay here again without being comped sth for my past experience. Subpar is generous.

Great location. Hotel was under renovations in lobby which was not known prior to booking. Fire alarm went off twice. Room was small which was fine for the amount of time we spent in the room but the was very small no vanity area. Would stay again because of location.

This property is in the most perfect location in downtown Boston, it was honestly better than I imagined. My husband and I stayed here for our 2 year anniversary. Even though the building was under construction, everything was quiet and nice during our stay. We didn't rent a car so we walked everywhere and it was close to everything it felt. 10/10
