We were expecting more from this hotel. Restaurant closed ver early, bar too. They need to offer more in terms of service. The room was fine but the bathroom was very small, the toilet was extremely tight.

This stay was for our 10 year wedding anniversary, unfortunately it didn't get off to a good start as the room we were gave smelt awful as soon as we opened the door. We were looking around the room trying to figure out where it was coming from and upon opening the refrigerator it was packed full of the previous guests dinner so old soggy sprouts, broccoli etc. I called front desk and was told to go downstairs and they'd switch our room. The new room was fine but unfortunately we were woken at 1am by a blaring alarm and messages thru the intercom in the room to say there was a fire in the hotel and to evacuate. Two trucks from Boston city fire department arrived and after investigating found no fire. After the shock awakening and noise from hundreds of guests getting back settled there was no sleep had that night. I did tell front desk that we had an awful stay but had a fake sympathetic look and told thanks for staying and goodbye.

Might as well not have a bathroom door.

My husband and I were here for four nights. It was a very nice hotel and in a great centralized area to the places we wanted to visit. Very clean, comfortable beds, and staff was very helpful. My only complaint is that when they remodeled the bathrooms, the sliding barn door does not close all the way nor is there a lock. Granted I was in a room with my husband and he knows if the door is closed not to enter. However, the door is about 2 inches shy of closing, which meant he had to stand in the hallway while I used the bathroom. Might sound crazy, but I refuse to go #2 with an audience. This is not the first hotel I have seen like this and I’m not sure why hotels are doing away with privacy in the bathrooms. If Omni fixes this issue, I’d come back again, otherwise it’s a no for me.

Beautiful history

The hotel was beautiful and centrally located. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were updated, however the closet had minimal space and the bathroom although modern, was cramped. Its a great place for tourists to stay and walk everywhere.
