I’ve stayed here twice over the past few years and it is always a pleasant experience. Friendly staff, delicious dining on site, coffee and Boston cream pies as well! A short walk to the freedom trail, Boston Common, library, Cheers, public transportation, and more!

My husband and I were disappointed at check in that we had reserved a king sized bed over 3 months ago, and when we checked in, there were no king sized rooms available. The front desk compensated us, but it was disappointing to receive a room with two double beds instead of a king. Also, on our 2nd day of our stay, the hotel workers went on strike. We were awakened at 7:00 am to picket line shouting over megaphones, microphones, and drums. This continued this day and the next day (our last), from 7:00 a.m until 8:00 pm. We were unable to get seated at the restaurant for breakfast due to lack of workers in the restaurant. This was quite disappointing and frustrating to circumvent.

Never choose Omni again
Omni Union employees were on strike. Large group of very loud hotel workers protesting outside hotel. Over priced rooms. Hôtel restaurants were closed and limited staffing. Rooms were not cleaned daily due to strike. Did not have chance to taste Parker House famous Boston cream pie due to strike. Check out was very slow. Just pay the employees what they deserve. Will not choose Omni in future.

For the price, this hotel was very expensive (for what you got and the room conditions), run down and noisy. Lots of extra charges on the bill. The hotel staff were on strike and blowing air horns and banging five gallon buckets while they marched around the hotel starting about 6 am. Pamphlets shoved under door at night. Breakfast was canceled (except for the tour groups). General atmosphere was anxious and somewhat hostile. My 10 year old was frightened at times.Not rich so had to save up for weeks for a family vacation to receive this type of experience? Not one to write bad reviews but feel mistreated and ignored.

The staff was friendly in person, on the phone very rude. There was a strike going in outside so they claimed they had no room service even though we had gotten room service a day earlier. The protesters were on the gathering right under our window in the alley so from 7 am to 8 pm, this is all we heard (horns and banging). Room was ok beds comfy but tv was horrible and to watch a movie you had to rent for $20. Bathroom had rust everywhere and bathtub didn’t hold water. They have signs in common areas that say please keep quiet for guests but that didn’t help anything. People yelling and running all night and early mornings! I would not stay here again. Checked out and went to the Hilton by the airport, it was phenomenal.
