“I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and comfortable. The rooms were clean, and beautifully maintained. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing exactly what we were looking for. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting

Upon arrival the front desk staff was professional and friendly. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean with some notable wear and tear (stained rugs, torn curtains). There is a common kitchen-like area that comes in handy late at night. Not the quickest elevators but the history makes it worth it!

The room was too small. We felt we were in a shoebox. Had unpleasant night because the bed was to small. We though we were getting a king size bed but got a full bed. We were sleeping on top of each other. i called the front desk to switch room but was told that hotel was sold out. I was hoping the hotel would do something to accommodate us but they basically did nothing and blamed hotel.com. The location is excellent though and the bar in the lobby is a very good bar with good service. I just wish the room was bigger. Didn't even hve chair to sit in. the smenities in the room were very minimal.

We came to Boston for four days expecting a comfortable stay, but instead experienced one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. Out of the four days we stayed, there was NO hot water for TWO full days. Not “lukewarm.” Not “temporarily unavailable.” Completely cold water. In winter. This is not a minor inconvenience this is a basic service that any hotel must provide. It was physically impossible to shower properly. The air conditioning in the room did not work either. We couldn’t regulate the temperature at all. The room was either too cold or stuffy, with no control The bed sheets were torn. Not slightly worn actually torn. That alone says a lot about the level of maintenance and care. Overall, the hotel feels very old, neglected, and poorly maintained. It does not match the price or expectations in any way. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a great trip to Boston
