Our ceiling above the bed had water damage that’s getting ready to go. We arrived with a half roll of toilet paper in the restroom, and no shower gel.No complimentary breakfast, they do have items for purchase though.

Getting to the place was strange, it's behind a big mall, the Liberty tree mall. If traveling by public bus it'll drop you in front of the mall so you'd need to run around the mall, down the parking lot, either cross a grassy mound or up the drivethru and past a large busy and fast street with no crosswalk or stop signs. The hotel seems to be a drivethru hotel, going by car will be much easier. Aside from the it's a lovely little place, very old timey vibes. The rooms were very clean, water temperature was excellent. The TV was analogue with a decent reception, nights were mostly quiet, though that may have been our room being close to the stairwell. We had a great stay and base for our Salem excursions! The bus(which is once again in front of the mall) takes you straight there in 15mins! Also there's a target and CVS for any needs arise. It came quite in handy! Staff was grade A and the food in the commons had a nice homelike vibe to it

This hotel is in a great location if you are staying right outside of the hustle and bustle of Salem. The facilities appeared clean and up to snuff. My main complaints are the hidden charges they tack on: the $100 security deposit which was NOT communicated beforehand and a $15 charge to check-in early. I’ve never seen a hotel do this before and we were only an hour early. The rooms themselves have paper-thin walls and I could hear people walking around upstairs all night. The floors are extremely squeaky. They also blast music at 5am apparently which disturbed my sleep. Overall, I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again unless it was more of a last ditch option.

The room was clean, loose tile on the bathroom floor but that was all, the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast as it was 17 dollars per person and we found a great diner in Peabody for a great price. Maple St Cafe if you need it, great place! Also, the TV, we could not get our YouTube or Netflix on their outdated TV. Could not even cast our phone and we're stuck watching the channels they had. My husband is disabled so we have a lot of down time even on vacation so that's pretty important to us.
