Beware! Loud, dirty, and not as described on web

Dog barking unattended in next room for hours. Water park closed although they sold us tickets online but never notified us before we arrived with kids looking forward to it. This is our 2nd horrific time at this hotel and we will never make that mistake again. Also, no tv in kids area where we booked a special room with toddler beds so that they could watch their own shows. Highly disappointed.

Quick one night stay due to a local dance competition. Convenient location right off the highway. Great for kids and teens as there is a pool, Starbucks with tables onsite as well as a good restaurant and buffet breakfast. Nice lobby area with varied seating options. Food was good. Room was clean and spacious and beds comfortable. Very satisfied! I do think the buffet breakfast should be included in the cost but it's not.

Staff is very helpful. I'm especially grateful to the cleaning staff who gave me some extra time to check out. I booked my entire trip from Maine to Danvers around a meeting at the hotel. I told the staff it might go long..and I requested some extra time to check out. They made it happen. This really meant a lot to me, I'm very grateful. I used this hotel for a conference and will absolutely come back...this Double Tree has plenty of space for conferences...which is not always the case in nearby Boston....plus parking is free.

The property is pretty and well kept. We were there for a dance competition on site. The staff for the most part were very friendly. There was one lady at the front desk who was not so friendly on two different occasions. I do assume its just her bad attitude and not a reflection of the hotel because no one else presented that way. The beds were comfortable. The room got hot at night. I liked that there were mini fridges in the room i wasnt eclectic that. I also aopreciated that they are being exo friendly by adding large size bottles of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion....rather than a ton of trial sizes. The toilets were wired because they took a bit to flush but it all worked. The pool area was a nice ammenity we appreciated as well.
