Embassy suites Boston: Waltham ought to be shut d

This property ought to be shuttered. The facility is extremely old and beaten up.,you must stop booking people at the hotel. It is a disgrace. The first week the entire facility was without heat. The common areas were around 52 degrees each day. The front desk is wildly understaffed. Hilton has no right to book people at the hotel. The public health commissioner for Massachusetts is investigating.

My bathroom was out of shampoo, which of course, I didn’t realize until I was in the shower and couldn’t do anything about it. Very frustrating. The parking fee was a surprise, as I’ve stayed at several hotels in the area and have never had to pay. Also frustrating. It felt like just another way to take some of my money. The sheets had a stain on it. My room had an odd smell, but I got over that, thinking it could have been from the heat. Bed was comfortable, room was a good size. Breakfast/coffee was very good.

The $15 nightly parking fee and $12 daily Wi-Fi charge were unacceptable. Moreover, the in-room climate control system malfunctioned, remaining fixed at 69° Fahrenheit despite two service requests, creating uncomfortably cold conditions for my family (three young children aged 1, 4, and 7) during our winter stay. However, I commend Hilary of the front office for her exceptional professionalism, grace, and efficiency in handling my concerns, even during peak hours. Her service was outstanding. Keep it up, Hilary!

My cashmere sweater got stolen from my room. When issue raised to hotel management, threats to vacate. Poor management and escalation to Hilton corporate complaint, has resulted in nothing. Would never go back, despite being a preferred hilton honors customer for years.

I had booked a room with two beds they gave me a room with one king bed - no apologies from the stuff I had to waiting at least 10-15 mins to change the room. At the new room the lights at the bedroom were not working- too tired to inform the front desk.
