There was a bad smell in our room we weren’t going to be in it much so didn’t say anything. We were up most of the night because the smell was get bad to the point it made me puke. The next morning went down and told them we needed to be moved and the girls always like we are fully booked come back after 11. Went back and she still was saying the only thing they could do is come apart the room. I told her already did that and it still smells. Also asked to talk the manger. She told us to come back after 4 and they would have a different room and the manger would be there. She was going to put note in the system. Went back and now there was new people working. Told them again about the smell and they offered to go spray to room. I told him that is not going to work because the smell is making me sick that we needed a new room. He was trying to get out of giving us a new room saying they are fully booked and short staffed on cleaners. The GM herd us and can over. She told him to help the guest that she would take care of us. She upgrade us to the governor room.

Rooms need some attention. Wallpaper peeling, old shower curtains. The room was clean but housekeeping was a different experience every day-- one day extra towels, the next day, towels disappeared. One day the extra blanket disappeared. Coffee replaced but not cups. Give your staff a clear checklist so guests have what they need.

Living room furniture was shabby with holes in the couch and big stain on the chair arm. One of the lights did not work and the suitcase holder was broken. There was also a musty smell when we walked into the room. The rooms were nicely designed and we appreciated the privacy of a suite. It was nice and clean. Breakfast was great.
