perfect stay in salem
i loved the view, we could see town hall and a lot of salem, the sunsets were gorgeous! we were on a busy street that was well lit so could walk around easily, even at night, and could cut through the side street to get to essex street super fast!! plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, even things open late. it was helpful that we were across a starbucks too! the hotel itself was comfy, quiet, and nice.

Glad I picked this place for our first Salem visit! The property was beautiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Walking distance to everything in the town. Plenty of things to do and places to eat. Loved that at night you can only get in with your keycard and you have to use your keycard to get into the elevator which is a great safety feature. When ever we go back to Salem I would always stay at the Hampton! Thank you!

The property requires that you pay for parking each day. The building is decent and offers free breakfast from 6-10am. Clean units but a bit interesting when you step outside, especially at night. Be safe !

Charging for parking 25 a day is crazy. That should be part of the room charge or no charge. Way over priced room rate for what was average stay. The shower water pressure was awful. Very clean place and people were nice.
