Room was fine, but everything was dated. Pillows were tiny and pretty non-substantial. Rust stains around shower spigot and accessibility bar against tile. Spigot was loose from wall. Sink had one of those spigots that was like 2 inches from the edge of the bowl so you had no room to actually wash your hands. Sheets and comforter were small and was easy to just roll over and be partly uncovered. No blackout curtain.
Water was hot, heating worked well, TV, fridge worked well, space was clean and tidy.
Clearly the hotel knows it's in need of renovations, because the 4th floor was under heavy renovations. Oh, yeah, which included banging around starting at 8am Saturday. The whole wing should have been closed off, or at the very least, guest warned _AT BOOKING_. I wasn't even told at check-in. Not really the staff or construction crew's fault - this is just Hampton Inn corporate and management - pretty s****.
