We thought we were in a flight pattern of a local airport but it turned out it was the elevator noise that we could hear in the room. Never experienced anything like it before. Apparently the hotel was sold out because the elevator seemed to be used throughout the whole night.

Needs a bit of an update

The hotel seemed good on first impression, but within a day our toilet stopped working, they did get someone up to fix it but at the next flush it was back to not working. They moved rooms for us but I soon noticed that the shower head in the new room was broken, again it was fixed within a couple of days. We were there for 11 nights and housekeeping was every day but I noticed that the dusting was not being done and on occasion the room was not vacuumed. The coffee/tea/milk for the machine in the room was not restocked regularly and we had to keep asking for milk. The one positive is that it is close to all you could need while staying in Boston.
