Best hotel in downtown Boston

The Dagny has quickly become my favorite hotel in Boston. Beautiful rooms, great location, and service that is off the charts!

This is the old Hilton Downtown, and the Dagny did a beautiful job of revitalizing the property. The room was beautiful, very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant and breakfast in the breakfast place and both were delicious. Two items of concern - parking was $70/day - that seems awfully expensive, and the motorized shades in the room - out of 5 windows, 2 did not work at all and were stuck shut. For $450 /night plus parking I would expect everything to work. I did advise the front desk on our checkout. We will be back.

This hotel had amazing ratings and now I see why. Staff was courteous and helpful, breakfast every morning gave you a $10 credit to use at their cafe (included in your rate) and there was a restaurant for dinner there but I didn’t check them out. Easy access to North Boston, lots of things within walking distance. And very clean, which I absolutely appreciated. Would happily stay here again. The only con I can think of is there are some super loud birds nearby that chirp soo loudly in the morning? I don’t know if I was just weirdly unlucky every morning but they were the things to wake me up. It was fine and I just got up when they started yelling, but maybe take that into consideration depending on which floor you’re on!
