Arrived at hotel at 12pm due to American Airlines changing my flight and Juan made the accomodation to allow me to check-in early. The hotel was in a very busy area but it had some nice stores in the area which made it very walkable. Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

I requested a specific room type which I had been allocated, but unfortunately it wasn’t cleaned even an hour after check in so the system isn’t working very well. It was quiet at the back of the hotel but we were right by a big AC system outside. It isn’t clear at all how to drop off here. You can park on the road and pay online per 15 mins, the car park at the back had the barrier down when we arrived and we didn’t want to block the road.

Great stay, highly reccomend this hotel!

Location of this hotel was great, the red line was right across the street from the hotel and only 4 stops into central boston. Area was nice and quiet. Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable also and the shower was amazing, good pressure and nice toiletries.

Hotel 1868 is a beautiful hotel, and we especially appreciated the excellent Thai restaurant recommendation from the front desk clerk. Our stay was good, but the rooms were a bit small, and we were disappointed that the suggested parking was closed, forcing us to use valet.

This is my third time staying at Hotel 1868 and it is my go to hotel in Boston. The location is convenient to Harvard, and right across from the T so you can get around the city easily. Rooms are clean, well maintained and very comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly.
