Liked the location of the property. The front desk area is very minimal, could use some warmth. Thought the lobby chandelier was beautiful, but not quite in harmony with the orchid. The room was well-appointed, appreciated the blackout shades. The bed could have been softer for my liking, the mattress was very firm. The gym was small but well-appointed for a small space. Disappointed in the Berkley restaurant/bar- lacked basic customer service as in greeting guests, checking in on guests once food was delivered, asking if wanted another drink, waiting for bill/then payment.

I loved this hotel! We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Boston. Everything about it, but especially the location, thelayout of the room and the amenities, as well as the bar and restaurant, but particularly Heather at the front desk Ryan assistant, general manager and Omar in the restaurant were particularly helpful to us.

Skip the Police Station

Its an old police headquarters that was cleaned up but still has an institutional feel to it. No ambience. Expensive to valet car. Check in staff had alot of attitude and charged $50 for 30 minute early fee or " you are free to come back in a half hour". Room was ready. A place with no character or charm with bad service

This is a lovely hotel but for the price paid I was disappointed. The lights in the bathroom broke and no one seemed very concerned when this was reported. We had a disabled adapted room right by the lift which made it noisy and the shower was fairly average compared to the luxury feel I’d expect from a property in this price bracket. That said the location is great and there’s a lovely lounge area to relax in. Cocktail bar made a good cocktail but the setting is not super-swish.
