Excellent location!! 2-3 minute walk from the Boston Garden/North Station (Commuter rail & MBTA stop). I was in town for day surgery at Mass Eye & Ear, only a 15 minute safe easy walk from the hotel. With all the commuters in the area, I felt safe walking to MEE at 7:30am on a weekday. The hotel itself is very clean and appears to have been updated recently. There’s a bar & restaurant (breakfast for purchase) on the ground floor. I didn’t use the parking.

Our room key was given out to family members without so much as checking id or confirming with us. They approached the front desk and asked if they needed a key to use the elevator to go up to our room. Without any hesitation, they gave them 2 room keys…not even what they were asking for. Also, the smell of weed was so bad in our room during the day. We called the front desk and asked for room spray. Looked as those maybe it was coming from some staff….

Boston trip
They were very accommodating with early check in and securing our luggage for us after check out since our flight out of Boston was not until early evening. Very friendly staff. It was fun being near the Bruins hockey stadium as well as walking distance to tons of restaurants.

We arrived at 4:00pm one hour after minimum check in time. The told us we had to wait 15 minutes because the room was not ready. After noticing for 45 minutes other guests were checking in ahead of us, I inquired again. The Desk clerk told me that was because of the room we had reserved was why we have to wait. But I inquired what was so special about a room, she said it was a king size bed. I said well do you have any rooms available with the queen size bed? She said yes, so she put us in another room with a queen size bed and when I asked what the price difference was about a $60 difference. She could not give us credit for the difference, but offered us free breakfast which I declined. I called Hotels.com and they had me sent a copy of the invoice and hopefully they will give me credit. And now for what I thought about the room: The room was nice but a little bit on the small side. Although there were windows, it seemed like as if they were open. The noise was so loud in the room from the street below all night long. In addition, we could smell cooking smells on and off throughout our stay. The shower tiles are so slippery. I’m surprised no one had a bad fall. Not really worth the money considering this was supposed to be an upper class hotel.

Perfect location for TD Garden concert. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The young gentleman outside who helped with the bags and car was fun to hang out with while we waited for the car, which came right when they texted it would. This trip was a very big deal for our special needs son and staying here made it as easy as possible. We liked being able to see the Garden from our room and could time our trip over for when the line shortened considerably. If you want to eat in the restaurant before an event, I’d get there early. Website listed a number you could text or call for ordering in room dining, but I think the texting part is not accurate for this location. Breakfast at the restaurant was easy and good quality. Great visit, thank you

Pro: Staff extremely helpful and outgoing. Bar/breakfast staff fantastic. GREAT breakfast food quality. Awesome location to TD Garden and surrounding area. Bed was very comfortable. Con: linoleum flooring in room seemed to be coming up from subfloor and bubbling. Sound proofing of room is terrible- very noisy hallways and hear even faint talking. Alleyway is where trash and recycling bins are and extremely noisy through windows. Worst part was that even on a Monday night, loud thumping club music from one of the area establishments was prominent until 2am. If looking for good staff and just a place to crash and don’t mind the noise… it’s perfect. If you need a restful sleep, I would look elsewhere.
