The location is perfect, however, the amenities and services need quite a bit of upgrade. Some may justify it by saying you get what you pay for, but I will let you have your own experience. On arrival, around 10 pm, no one was available to check us in. Waited 10 mins before someone showed up. Check-in was quick thankfully as we were tired and wanted to get into room as soon as possible. The bathroom was a nightmare, flush didn't work and you have to hold onto the knob to ensure it flushed. Shower curtain were barely hanging in place. Next day, when we got back in evening, the room was not cleanes up. Not even the beds were made or linen replaced. Breakfast services were closed 30 mins early. I could go on, but I guess you get the picture. But yes, it was cheaper than other hotels and located at a convenient distance feom downtown.

The pet fee should be clearly defined. I told the front desk representative that I have a dog and he didn’t mention anything of an up-charge . Yet once my card was swiped and I was getting ready to head over to my room he then states, “ ohh by the way there’s an 85.00 pet charge” . That’s highly unprofessional it would have been nice to be informed before being charged of the fee. You would think paying $200.00 just for one night and then an additional unexpected charge that the place would be decent instead it was mediocre at most. The shower made a loud noise when the water was turned on . With a charge of over 300 I’d expect more. At this point I’m just disappointed next time I’m in the Massachusetts area I will be looking elsewhere.

It's all about the people

The staff at this hotels are it's true asset. From Front Desk to Food Service to Housekeeping, everyone we encountered was friendly and so helpful! The hotel itself is a little worn and rough around the edges and could use a facelift. But the employees more than made up for it. Note to hotel management: Don't lose them, they are your real asset!

Excellent welcoming professional staff as well as check out. Plentiful parking but felt the space was tighter than most between vehicles. Bed was more on the plush side vs. firm. Wi-Fi was reliable. The pull out couch bed was not very comfortable but luckily only 1 night stay. Hot eggs, sausages, potatoes, and oats for our weekday breakfast to continue our journey. Breakfast room had a fresh squeeze orange juice dispensing machine that was mechanically visible internally. Overall nice stay at hotel traveling between Quebec and NY for spring break. First time stay at this location and honestly would book here again just so I can get another serving from the juice machine!
