Room was very nice with a notable exception: the ceiling in the bathroom had or has a noticeable leak with wet Sheetrock, peeling seams and bubbling paint. I reported the problem to front desk and not sure if they intended to inspect or not.

I just felt like it was uniquely located to really discover Boston. I have stayed closer to the harbor a couple of times, and I always felt trapped. I really, enjoyed this hotel, even the morning breakfast meals were great.

The hotel itself was very nice and centrally located. The sidewalks around the property need to be improved due to the cracks and broken bricks which can cause you to trip if you're not careful or at least paying attention to where you walk.

We are enjoying our trip to Boston so far. The Hyatt is very conveniently located to the subway and the Boston Commons parks. The theater district is so close, I wish I had booked some shows! I would stay here again. There were no issues when checking in even though I booked through Expedia.

We enjoyed the stay. I actually stayed at the same hotel 34 years ago when it was called Hotel Lafayette, and I was impressed that the hotel has been beautifully updated. We really liked the location conveniently close to Boston Common and Chinatown. And, the fitness facility and the swimming pool were a big plus.

We loved this hotel! Its location was perfect and easy to walk to everywhere. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows were extremely soft but I didn’t bother asking if there were options. The bathroom was nice and very clean, even though I’m not a fan of shower curtains. We did not try the restaurant or their breakfast, so we can’t say anything about it. The amenities are great. The only negative thing is that you have to take one elevator from the ground floor to the reception floor (well, it was really not a big deal but I’m sure it won’t please everyone). Overall we would definitely return to this hotel.

I set up an early check-in. And when I got there after a long train ride and my back killing me because I’ve had surgery and I’ve made your back problems. Security person told us we couldn’t check in until four so we took the train back home as they forced us out of the hotel.
