We made our reservation ahead of time with prepay option. However, the hotel was overbooked and the staff weren't able to check us in after we waited for almost one hour, making it a frustrating and disappointing experience. The silver lining is that the staff were cordial (also not their fault that the system was down), and the hotel was able to issue a full refund after I contacted expedia to explain the situation. I really hope it was a rare glitch in their system because if we didn't have friends to take us in very last minute, there was nothing we can do but keep waiting.

Customer service was great. Easy check in. Charging $75 for early check in and $45 for parking was ridiculous when charging $500 per night. I was on the 9th floor and it was the troublesome floor. Security knocking on my door around 9pm because someone was banging loudly on doors and running. At midnight I had a group of 8 randomly standing outside my door having a party. At 1 am again. Another party a few doors down. Crying toddler outside my door for 5 minutes in the morning but had no reason to stand outside my door. Other than that, I would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly. But the facility was dark, old, run down. ALSO -- I was charged an exorbitant rate by expedia! The hptel was renting rooms directly that night for $350 and expedia charged me $624!! Very discouraging...

Great location and view of the Charles, shops, restaurants, transportation, biking and running paths. Hotel did not live up to its promises. Staff were amazing but facility is dated and worn. Pool was filthy and unusable, and finally determined broken, I guess. After I assume were many complaints, they closed it down completely mid-weekend. My room did not have the large view promised and things like light switches and electric receptacles were loose on the wall and worn out. The location and awesome friendliness of the staff (check in, restaurant, and housekeeping were all amazing) almost made of up for it. Great location, wonderful people, some facilities are in need of renovation and higher maintenance standards.

The parking was a huge concern check in did not explain the 45.00 fee for parking the rate per night was a lot so I assumed it was included. A rodient got into my car overnight and was in a coffee cup… not a pleasant experience. In leaving the parking garage the room key did not work my son in law flagged down employee to help and was inadvertently hit by the gate. We were there for a medical appointment a lot of drama to experience prior to apt. I think focusing on the parking garage and expense ( stating parking is not included) would have been helpful.

Lovely stay!
It’s convenient to the TD Garden along with so many other spots in the city, walkable and has a few restaurants and bars that were good. For the expensive price, we would have appreciated some kind of discount for parking since it was astronomical. That would be the only reason we would reconsider next time.
