The last few years i have been averaging 50-60 hotel nights per year. I mostly stay with Hilton because the App allows you to pick your own room as well as other benefits. i know from experience that the hotels dislike booking with Expedia, but I booked the Seaport with Expedia for convenience. When i checked in the receptionist proclaim that she upgraded my room,really. Well she upgraded me to a handicap room with windows the size of the bottom deck of a cruise ship. It was isolated and I never did get the heat to work. Long story short when my medical appts required me to stay another night , I stayed at the Logan Hilton. I think that young receptionist missed the class on treating guests with dignity and respect.
