Lovely hotel but excessive parking fee

The hotel was lovely, and the staff friendly and accommodating, The only negative was the $70/day for parking, which I find to be excessive. My children and grandchildren came to visit while their father and I are here in Boston as he prepares for a stem cell transplant this week. $140 on top of the cost of the room is a lot for young families.

A big night planned and ruined

The hotel room was renovated and comfortable. The hotel offers no amenties it said it had. No restaurant, no room service that would answer the phone, no onsite food or snack options, no ice or vending machines, no lounge and wifi wifi without a 13 or 16 dollar charge. If that was not bad enough there was no hot water in the bath. I called and complained and received a call from the maintenance man. He stated that all the rooms ending in 18 or 19 on all floors had no hot water and didn't know why. That's over 50 rooms. I believe we where the only ones on the 9th floor. Why would they put us in a room knowing that. The check in was like going to bus terminal window. When I asked about getting something to eat they said to go to the Prudential center, the closest option was a shake shack. A good 10 minute walk. Not a good option for the elderly. None of these problems was listed when I made the reservation. This was a special night for us as we don't get out often due to our age and health.

Great experience. Only downfall was the hot water. Called the front desk a couple of times and they tried to take care of it. It will work, but you have to let it run for about 15 minutes. It didn’t affect my stay negatively, just a heads up to future guests.

I loved how it was connected to the Prudential but wished the room was a little bit bigger. The water got hot extremely fast and had excellent pressure, the staff was lovely and pleasant and made the check in process smooth
