This place was about to be renovated, so I hope it is better now. It was raining during my visit, and the roof leaked terribly.
Location was excellent in correlation to the T. The only big downside, like every hotel, was the pillows.

We chose this property because it was affordable and is a name brand hotel. This is the most unique Holiday Inn that we have ever stayed at. This particular hotel use to be an old school motel that you could drive up to your room door. They have since enclosed the "parking lot" and added an indoor pool and carpeted "hang-out" space. If you are located, as we were in a room that faces the pool, that is your only window in your room. Not sure how they can get away with not having a window to the outside for fire safety codes. To say the room was cave like is an understatement, with no natural light. This motel needs serious updating and maintenance.
Great location for Brookline & access to public transport. Staff was friendly & helpful. Good value for the price. The bed in our room was a little to soft for my taste. Overall a good experience.

good location. common areas need love. exterior is dated.
I know there was a hotel, workers strike but there should never be less than two rolls of toilet paper ever! Then one was moldy because there was no ventilation in the bathroom. Always having to ask for towels etc.
Check-in was slow because only one person was working the desk despite the line of people waiting. The room was ok but the bathroom had peeling wallpaper and gaps/cracks in the tile floor. The shower curtain also wasn’t long enough so leaked onto the bathroom floor.
Great location next to the T station, within 10-15 walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, and dinning options. Great on-site dining (at charge). Good price for the location and convenience. We stayed on the second floor, so there was no view or natural light. It was a little dark in the room even with all lights on. The facility is a little dated, but clean. The front desk staff were warm and helpful. I would stay here again.
I am currently on hold for 20 minutes trying to get these people to send me a receipt for my travel expenses - this is the FOURTH time I've called as they cannot seem to handle this simple request after assuring me it would be no problem and I'd have it "shortly." Hotel is noisy as your room may be in the middle of the hallway with no view of the outside. There were no menus or info about the hotel in my room when I arrived so I look online for the room service menu - it was outdated - it took me 5 "guesses" to get something that was still on the menu. Horrible experience. And... after typing this.... I'm still on hold!!!!!!
Mr Mohammed, one of the staff was so nice he needs a raise... the cleaning staff is a different story the room both had an odor and was visibly disgusting come on. -Mataya

Big room, fanatastic location. Facility is worn and rooms need updated.
No ventilation. No air. No windows that open. No fan in bathroom. The air was unbreadable. Also leaking roof with rain all over carpet in corridor to room.
