Parking was not real convenient but we parked and walked everywhere. You could walk to the north end was .4 miles. Boston Tea party was right under a mile so you get your steps in without having to get your car. They give you a $20 credit at restaurant as long as you’re not in a hurry to eat. One server the day we went down for breakfast. Staff as super nice and a good hotel. I would stay there again if I come back to Boston or highly recommend!
The hotel is very nice over all. Because of its unique shape there is only one elevator and it can back up. We had no coffee in our room, next just wasn’t stocked, and I needed coffee so we went to the hotel restaurant and asked for coffee they were going to charge at first but I told them we did not have it in our room and they did not charge. The size of the room was very tight for the cost of the stay. We were able to walk to the areas we wanted to walk to some were fairly long walks but that was our choice and we were ok with it. Room was clean and bed comfortable, just pricey for the size of room.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
They do not have onsite parking. The parking garage was about 3 blocks away but not the easiest to find. Staff was wonderful. Rooms were clean, but small.
All was perfect, friendly staff location etc, we had a family suite, so two bedrooms, my kid at the end didn't want to sleep to the separate room, so I did, but that bed technically a sofa bed (was actually a normal bed which is better) but the mattress was gone, a big hole in the middle, slept ok but is time to change that one
The hotel was very clean. The food was good. If you use their parking it's 40$ every time for each day, plus 40$ for every time you leave and come back. Not worth having a vehicle there. The desk clerks at check in- not the rest of the day -were near impossible to understand. Of the 5 of us staying there, not one of us understood them. Our room was so small I had to put my suitcase in the window. The room had 2 double beds and was too small for 3 people. Will not stay here again.
My wife and I stayed at the Boxer for 2 nights to check out Boston. It was in a great location, staff was friendly, and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed and the air conditioning worked great during the extremy high temps outside because this was in August
So I definitely had the impression that this was closer to the action than it was. It was apart from everything so even though it was walkable, we wouldn’t have ever done it after dark because of the lack of other tourists and some of the areas were inhabited by the homeless. That’s actually saying a lot because most of the time, we did not encounter that population.
We weren’t told where to find the one ice machine in the building, nor were we told about the fresh later available in the lobby.(Probably because it was only put out in the morning and not replenished) The minibar situation was not explained to us and it was a bit confusing as there were things not there listed and things there that were not listed.
They do have a hidden gem in their dining room/bar area named Kerrilynn. A local, she had plenty of tips.
Our room was small, but it was definitely clean and had a refrigerator. They also had a coffee maker in the room, but I was unsure if it was part of the minibar which was kinda all over so I was afraid to use it.
