We had a wonderful stay at the Godfrey. It was the perfect location for us to walk and enjoy the downtown Boston area. We had easy access to a lot of good food choices. It was great to be able to walk to the nearby Common and begin our Freedom Trail tour.

It was very close to excellent dining and shopping options. Historical attractions were right around the corner and everything was walkable. Boston is very beautiful, but very expensive to visit.

The standard king size bed room was the smallest hotel room we have ever been in, hardly room for 2 adults with 4 pieces of luggage and heavy coats. Staff was great, too bad there was not a restaurant onsite however.

Fantastic hotel, very clean, conveniently located one block from Boston Commons Park, a 10 minute walk to Beacon Hill or Newbury Street. 15 minute walk to North End for yummy Italian food. Staff was extremely friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fantastic hotel! Convenient location, one block from Boston Commons Park, 10 minute walk to Beacon Hill and Newbury Street, as well as many popular museums. 15 minute walk to North End for Italian food. Check in was late afternoon. Restaurant reservations info was not correct. Staff over promised getting a high table at the adjacent restaurant insuring no reservations needed. This was simply not true and staff did not even apologize.

I stayed here for a business trip. It was quiet and comfortable. The gym is small, but well equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but have enough room to lay out your suitcase.

Great location
Initial the room allocated was very very below standard with a wardrobe in the bathroom and a huge pillar in the middle of the room and very shabby However we were impressed with how staff dealt with the situation, changing the room, offering a complementary breakfast and a refund of room tax. It was surprising to think that they thought the initial room would have been acceptable. The speed at which this was dealt with was impressive and staff were very friendly. Great location in central downtown
