Check in was very smooth after hours with instructions that were texted to me before I thought to request them. The lobby is very clean and inviting, offering a few little spots to relax that are not your room. I love the wood floors. Room one is right off the lobby area and the absence of rugs or mats did mean that some sound and a little bit of light travelled easily into the room at night and at breakfast time. The other guests were not loud so it wasn’t really an issue. The views outside show a number of places to congregate in the yard if weather allows. I like this place and would stay here again!

Nice place but Room 5 that we stayed in was noisy with both road noise and heating system outlet under window. Lighting in the room was either super bright or difficult to control.

Debbie (the manager that happened to check us in) was amazing. She's really short, im really tall haha we were both amazed. But the hotel was really cool. Breakfast was just a quick snack, no extra frills . Lived it, would definitely stay there again

Fun Victorian style, most of the staff great. However the morning person was 20 minutes late setting out breakfast and a bit grumpy. The room was cute, great deep tub, comfortable bed, but the fold out couch horrid with only a 2" thick mattress so the kids were miserable.

Highway robbery! We paid over $600 for 1 night with taxes. It was worth about $150 to $200 max. interior is worn out. air conditioner did not work well and was noisy. Kept us up at night. Breakfast can be missed. Bathroom was very dated. It felt less than completely clean.

This beautiful inn was perfect for our overnight stay to visit Salem, MA! Free parking with easy $12 Lyft rides to/from Salem’s madhouse was awesome!!!! The modernized rooms have comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, and quality TV. One minor concern for us was the AC unit didn’t cool while we were out, but I notified the front desk and they immediately came into the room to find a solution (it was on a wrong setting). The continental breakfast was unique with deviled eggs, homemade gingerbread loaf, fresh cut fruit salad, and boxed cereal. Coffee wasn’t exceptional, but the staff went out of their way to find out if their creamer offering was non-dairy (which it was!). Great experience, great location, great staff!
