Tried calling the front desk, but no one answered. Does not offer early check-in even. Will hold onto luggage. Parking is $45/night. The room I was in had no windows. Bed was lumpy. Everything looked nice, but it was skin-deep. The shower handle came off. The towel bar detached. The toilet seat wouldn’t stay up. The TV channels were very limited. No NESN so no Red Sox games. No phone in the room. No coffee. No microwave. Just a mini-fridge. The 1200 Bar was not a bar. There is no kitchen, no drinks. The continental breakfast available every day was not available today. The stairwells smelled like toilet bowl cleaner. The gym actually looked fairly decent, but the elevators were small and took forever. The location is great. The price was ok. But the value was terrible. I do not recommend this hotel.

Really liked this hotel. Great location on Beacon street with a stop on the Green line (C) just across the street. About a 20 minute walk to Fenway park, and in a neighborhood that feels very safe.

Hidden jewel close to Boston

Stayed for a few days while isiting family. Located in Brookline close to everthing. Easy walk to food. Public trans out front. Clean, modern just an outstanding stay. Highly reccomended.

spend another 100 a night to be at seaport

very strange place. you would never think you are approaching a hotel. only booked in proximity to brigham womens my daughter had a baby. the front desk person was aloof and didnt even greet us walked away when we walked in to talk to another employee in the bar/food area. came to desk i said hello first. basically a mumbler...spelled my name wrond and would not get into wi-fi. no "thank you" enjoy your stay or gave us any direction as to how to get to our room which by the way there are the craziest all signs with hotel room numbers and so confusing we roamed around for 10 min before we found the room. no outside windows. id love to know what this place used to be.

I love the location of this property. It is right across the street from the green line. Also, you can walk to restaurants, banks, pharmacy, etc. Very, very convenient. The neighborhood is safe and very pretty. Breakfast was a disappointment - worse than last time we stayed here. Only bread (bagels, loaf bread, apple pastry, muffins), cereal (cheerios, granola and one more), whole oranges and apples, and coffee. No hardboiled eggs, no yogurt, no granola bars, no waffles/pancakes, no bananas. Cream cheese was in short supply. As were plates. Those ran out one breakfast and none appeared for the following days. We all used napkins for our bread. Also, one of our rooms had a broken airconditioner. It was never fixed and after 5 days my in-laws had to change rooms. No airconditioning during the summer is not acceptable.

The hotel was very clean as well as my room. It was also located in a lovely neighborhood. My first issue was the from desk person, he didn’t look up or welcome us to the hotel. I found him quite rude to say the least. When we were checking in, I was told I had to pay $30 per day for the continental breakfast. These $30 included the breakfast and WiFi. I was under the impression it was complimentary, as other guest did too, as I overheard them asking the front desk as to why they had to pay this money. checked Additionally, you have to pay $50 a day for incidentals. This money will be refunded when you leave, but it’s not something that was forthcoming when I was searching for options for hotels in Boston. My room’s air conditioner was broken, I did call for them to fix it but I had to sleep in a hot room for one night. I did get a replacement the next day, I was refunded $33. In overall, next time I’m in Boston, I will go to another hotel.

Not bad location and convenient on site parking, however, almost all of the rooms are windowless and dark lol. I kind of felt like I was in a prison especially with the black geometric pattern. There was no place to buy snacks (vending machine or little store), so it was just water they provided. Toilet is very low to the ground too. It was very clean but very depressing because of how dark it was. I mean we weren't spending a lot of time awake in there, but it definitely wasn't pleasant.
