Great location, T access in front of hotel. I love the lobby vibe. It's spacious and inviting along with providing 24 hour coffee, tea, and water. Although, the walls in the rooms are bit thin. We can hear people's conversation passing by and the plumbing noises from the next room. The rooms are smaller but cozy. Mohamed, General Manager, was excellent in attending to a few incidentals we had. Overall, we would definitely stay here again. To note, we have stayed numerous times at The Commonwealth. We prefer the customer service at the Arcadian. Customer service is everything for us when we patronized an establishment. Thank you for a great 6 night stay.

Good value for Boston-area

The hotel is reasonably priced for what it is--comfortable room in a nice part of Brookline. The hotel parking is a bit pricey (I think $45) and takes a bit of practice getting in and out of it, but it's fine. The breakfast was basically bagels and cereal. But it was close to an event where we needed to be, and is very close to Boston (you can see the Citgo sign in Kenmore Square down Beacon Street).

The hotel was nice inside and clean. I booked this hotel specifically because the listing said it hard a bar inside and I wanted to grab a couple drinks before the event I was in town for. There are signs for the bar and even a whole blurb about it on the TV in the hotel room but when I went down there they said the bar was not up and running and that it never has been opened at all, I found that to be misleading.

It was our first time using Expedia and they booked me a room that was not available. When I got to the property, they told me that there was no available king size rooms (which was advertised and I paid for) and Expedia reserved a double full size instead. The Arcadian told me I had to take the issue to Expedia and Expedia said the hotel wouldn’t refund me. This will be the last time I’ll use Expedia and staying at the Arcadian.
