Fine for the price. Basic stay

This hotel was located near the hub of Brookline which made accessibility to restaurants, stores and the green line very convenient. The breakfast offered was delicious and fulfilling. The response time from the front desk was lacking expediency. I called the front desk to follow-up for items requested after 20 minutes of nobody showing up to deliver said hotel items. This hotel was recently remodeled but there was still a great deal of old hotel design left over such as clearly repaired tire and flooring. The carpet throughout the hotel was very dizzying and the odd layout of the hotel rooms gave a very "The Shining" feel. Parking was also very stressful and I always worried to artive too late that I wouldn't be able to find a parking spot.

The hotel is pretty big, and the lobby and common areas (including hallways/elevator) were clean. The staff was average and said the minimum to me when I checked in. The room was small and NO window to see outside! The only window was to the hallway. So if you don't want people to look into your room, you have to make sure your curtain is closed. There was complementary breakfast but my family and I opted not to eat at the hotel. We did like the location of the hotel in proximity to downtown Boston. We took the Trolley that was right across the street, which is super convenient. We had to pay for parking per night. Because we were staying at the hotel, there is a discount that brings the total to $38 a night. This is a good hotel if all you care to do is sleep, use the bathroom and leave your belongings somewhere in order to explore the city.

The only good thing is this hotel can walk over to shopping area, the hotel house keeping not so professional only cleaning and not filling up the stuff what we needs like - toilet paper, shampoo conditioner shower soap tissue box had to call down front desk to tell them sending up. And the room are very small

I liked that it was clean and modern. I didn't like the interior room of the hotel. The window opened to the indoor hallway and no natural light. I felt like I was in a fishbowl. Other than that, the staff was good, the place was clean, and the location was perfect.
