Great location in MIT campus. Retro interior and exterior decoration, family suite is the best choice for traveling with children. Free breakfast is a plus, but it would be better to change the content of breakfast every day. Like this hotel

Mechanical noise and no one cares

The fan in the bathroom would not shut off. So loud I couldn’t sleep. They could not fix it or get me another room. I tried to sleep on the couch because the noise was louder in the bed. I was up at 4 am yesterday and barely slept last night and I am exhausted. I have to get to work but still waiting for the manager to get in to resolve this. The whole point of a hotel is a good night’s sleep and I did not get that:(

Clean, quiet, nice room. Historic building kept in excellent condition, Appreciated that the heating-cooling system is quiet. Parking is convenient but does require skill to maneuver in a tight space. The included breakfast buffet needed more healthy choices (e.g. bran cereal, oatmeal, better variety of fruit.) But overall, still very nice.

This unique hotel was an absolute hit with our four year old. The fun theme and history was very cool. The breakfast was great and there were lots of options including vegetarian options. The parking is underground which is convenient but they are very small spaces so if you are renting a car keep that in mind. We had a wonderful time!

Had an okay time here. I had tried to text them through the phone number they gave in their welcome email but it doesn't actually go to the hotel so I would not recommend you text that phone number. I did not find the front desk staff to be very friendly nor were they expeditious. Their elevator is super slow and can apparently only take 4 people at one time. Additionally, though they have signs on the ground floor for the bathroom, they're both out of order so don't expect to be able to use them. Water pressure in the shower was good, breakfast was good. Bacon was the perfect level of crispy.
