I had stumbled across this hidden gem and took a risk. it was beautiful, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, and parking in the garage with just a short uber or train ride to our destinations was perfect for a small town Mom and son to see all that we wanted without fear of driving in the “big city”! 10/10 recommend and we will be back. Chaotic at check in

For the money, I was not impressed with the quality of the room. Although the room seemed to be relatively updated, it was worn looking and the bathroom didn't seem to be very clean (grime in corners and behind toilet). We waited a little while to check in, as there was a large party of airline crew that took a lot of time to get settled in and wrangled to check in. Once we did check in, the gentleman who checked us in was apologized for the wait, which I appreciate. However, once we received our room keys, we did not get any direction on where the elevators were to our room. We followed some people who looked to be going to their rooms, and found elevators. The only issue is that we went to elevators in the wrong wing of the hotel. So after schlepping our bags to the correct floor in the wrong wing, we had to wait for an elevator again, find the other wing's elevators, and wait again to finally make our way up to our floor and room. This was very frustrating as it really should have been told to us where to find the correct elevators to our room. It was our first time at this hotel and it was not clear at all.

Overall this hotel was pretty mid. It was fine but if you're looking for a higher end hotel this isn't it. If you're not in the room much and looking for a place to crash, it's perfectly fine. For Boston the T location is probably as far as many hotels are, still only about a 10 minute walk to Lechmere. This part of Boston doesn't have too much traffic which was nice. Restaurant was fine but over priced. Don't bother with breakfast, walk 5 minutes to little Luna... awesome breakfast spot! The best part was the view from the room of the city and the river, that was fantastic. That said, the door to the room stuck so had to put your shoulder into it a bit. Popcorn/texturing on the ceiling was falling off, oddly enough they don't actually put the plastic bag into the trash bin, they let you do that. Watch out for the $7 bottles of water in the room! Overall the staff wasn't bad but they were just... meh. The folks at the front desk weren't overly friendly but weren't rude either. Again... meh. We had a room with a king and a pull out couch. Though it said it slept 4, there were essentially no betting items for the pull out. We requested a sheet, extra blanket, extra pillow and an extra towel. We got half of those items 90 minutes after our request... didn't bother calling back. Overall, the hotel is a decent place with a fantastic view. With so many options in Boston I'm not sure I'd stay again but the lowlights listed wouldn't prevent me from going back!
