Johnny at breakfast was fabulous!! The two that were working with him were awesome too. Johnny recommended the pepper candy store and Turners seafood restaurant were amazing!

Room was nice. Table the Keurig was on not very sturdy. It seemed ready to break. Chairs seemed well worn & looked like they needed to be cleaned or replaced.

Beautiful room and location.

The place is beautiful and gives you that victorian type feel. It was comfortable and check in/out was easy. The location was perfect for a stay in Salem. My fiance loved it. Our only issue was another guest smoking which was not the fault of the hotel, and they did everything they could to make it right. I 100% loved the place and would stay there again. Also the jacuzzi tub was great for relaxation after a lot of walking.

What a unique stay! The free parking and breakfast was a bonus- but a really convenient one. The property is super walkable to all the things, but quiet and safe. The staff was really helpful and friendly. It was a nice historic property, it was a lucky find!

Lovely and quaint. Charming combination of hotel and B&B. Main draw back is no secure luggage storage before check-in or after checkout. So if you have time on your hands on either side of your stay (and no car trunk) you have to drag your luggage with you. Also there was no in room safe. So again you have to kerp all your valuable and meds you can't afford to lose with you while you tour, hike, sail ect.

Quaint, pleasant old inn( dangerous outer stairs

Nice rooms, staff and location. But old narrow steps, and stiff outer doors are a safety concern, especially for seniors carrying bags up and down narrow, steep outside stairs.
