First time here. Stayed in the backstage area. Absolutely the best experience we ever had at any hotel. We were welcomed right from the beginning and given a personal tour out to the trailer we stayed at. The staff were wonderful. Will definitely be planning another trip to this hotel again! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in Boston.

The bad first: this is NOT the place to go if you need a quiet atmosphere to sleep. Our room was directly across the alley from a nightclub which was loud all through the night. It was ok to sleep through with headphones, but if you're super sensitive it would be tough. Also, loud live music played at breakfast, which was nice but also kind of overstimulating. The good: The property is really cool and uniquely themed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Lots of little luxurious and special touches, like free bottled water and bathrobes and vinyls to borrow. The breakfast was just ok--standard hotel breakfast fare, but with people serving it to you, which made it seem more fancy. There was also live music played during breakfast, which was both nice and a little overwhelming. The location was very convenient to walk to Fenway or the house of blues.

The staff was efficient, helpful and friendly. The theme of the hotel, music/rock n roll, was done well. From the turntables in the room, the vinyl library in the lobby, the outstanding displays, the yellow submarine decor in lobby, and the rock star robes. They even have VIP backstage trailers to stay in. We stayed here b/c it was close to Fenway Park and we were going to a game, but the entire experience was fun!

This is the hotel where I have wanted to stay all my life and did not know it existed! A must for all music lovers, especially classic rock music lovers. I stayed in an incredible room, completely dedicated to Led Zeppelin which happened to be my favorite band - an incredible coincidence. The room and hotel details are impeccable and unique - this hotel is a gem. Everyone at the reception was wonderful and so was the service throughout. I could not recommend this hotel more and I cannot wait to go back.

Novel luxury - fun, interesting, and great service

This hotel is a wonderful experience - between the thoughtful design of the property and rooms to the staff it was an excellent place to stay. Comfortable beds, fun record players and a trove of records to listen to in the privacy of your own room and no audible noise from other guests. William who checked us in and gave excellent, helpful advice on places to eat and things to do was super friendly and efficient. The staff here is really great.

This is such a unique place! The Backstage was one of the coolest rooms that I have ever stayed in. The staff was so nice, the breakfast was good and convenient, and there are so many amenities it would be hard to list them all! I would come back to Boston just to stay here again!
