The rooms are pretty date and need some love (eg drawers hard to open, dirty / stained walls or bathtub, etc) The ice machine on the 11th floor never worked for my whole stay. The gym equipment was so-so, need some maintenance and the bike doesn’t have straps on one foot. Service was pretty good and the location was excellent.

Unfortunately, the first Corner King room we were assigned to had a broken mattress with the center lower than either end. Also the room had a moldy smell. But simply asking for a different room worked and our new room was much better. Also, the "Very early check-in" and "Very early check-out" are only granted on the day of the need, thus you can't plan for this. But they will hold your luggage if you have to check out earlier than desired.

The place is old and worn. Bathroom had a cockroach in it one night. We made the staff get rid of it. If you can see one there’s probably many more you can’t see. Construction on the street and across was ongoing all weekend. Through the night all you could hear was loud banging and cranes. No one advised us of this so we could possibly find another hotel before paying. We didn’t get much sleep due to the construction and air conditioning fans extremely loud. I wouldn’t waste my money on this place.

The street was closed down in front of the hotel and we were told the week before our stay, but they failed to tell us that there would be construction all night long. This kept us up the entire stay. When I tried to get a room changed I was told there were none available and that we just had to deal with the construction

housekeeping show up. not in 3 night stay..,no sign up. 8 people in 2 rooms. no water, 2 washclothes in each room. we went down to get coffee, cups, water, and asked for more Washcloths and towels, no Washcloths but a lot of towels. construction out our window on possitive side Great location!!!! close to everything we wanted, cofortable even with 4 adults in each room, everyone very friendly and helpful

The only positive thing about this property is it is close to Mass General Hospital. We were there with my daughter because she was admitted to have surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. We wanted to be close as possible to the hospital. The room that we were in Was 721. I complained to the front desk because the wall was rotted and moldy. They sent housekeeping to look and they did offer me another room however she said all the rooms were similar and the beds are like rocks. We checked out a day early and found an alternate hotel. I honestly would never stay there again. Even the lampshades were coated with cobwebs and dust

I been coming to Boston every year for 20 years for Massachusetts general hospital. I in those 20 years you can see this hotel to continue to get worse. I haven't stayed there in a few years but thought I'd try it again. Everywhere you look you can seeit run down and not well maintained. On my stay every ice machine on all the floors weren't work. My rood had the wallpaper coming off. Cracks in the shower wall. I recommend to the hospital to break whatever agreement with this hotel. Only good things, staff was nice and right next to the hospital. But you have to pay for everything. Refrigerator, microwave and anything else. And no breakfast imcluded

The front desk person was wonderful. I thought I paid for early check-in but they didn't know what I was talking about. Maybe that was an Expedia problem? But the front desk did what they could for me and gave my party a free breakfast. There was a waitress in the restaurant who was pretty clueless. The hotel is right across from a big hospital so it was noisy.
