When I arrived the hotel at 11:00 Pm, Nobody was at reception, necessary to call him from the telephone of reception to come in front desk, when he came was so sad and spoke loudly with no polite shouting front of my face and he looks so sleepy. That was so terrible and i never see employee like him he was Disrespectful and inappropriate for this place. Described the man he was bold and fat, white, didn’t wear the tag name. Never try to go to this hotel without any respect of tourists. I recommend to not try to visit this hotel as well.

Lovely hotel great location
Lovely hotel, great staff, good facilities, wish we had booked an afternoon tea as it looked amazing! Beds comfy, rooms decent, breakfast luke warm if you arrived after 9am, plenty of Choice. The only disappointing fact which was no fault of the hotel, was the neighbouring rooms waking us up at 6am and being able to hear every conversation, and even when they used the bathroom - could def use soundproofing. Other than that, would happily book again.

Lovely hotel, very small bathroom.
We have visited this hotel a few times as we love the spa and bar. The staff are polite and the hotel is clean and worthy of its 4 star. They have a great range of gins and lunch was delicious. However… The bathroom in our standard room was tiny!!! It was like an aeroplane toilet and the shower tray was slippy and so small that you couldn’t even step back to wash your hair. I wouldn’t recommend room 34. The spa no longer has loungers which is a big shame as I love relaxing on them and they now have chairs. I don’t think this was a good upgrade. I had a massage which was excellent! It was expensive but worth it and I believe her name was Keesha. We will be back but in a different room for sure!

Hotel was really good for the price I paid, the room was very clean, bedding and towels spotless, staff were very friendly and it was in a good location. I would stay here again for sure. Only slight negative, the shower was a little disappointing but not enough to stop me coming back.

Although we enjoyed, we found lots of aspects of the hotel outdated and threadbare. Certainly not worth the money we paid for it . We dont know why our extra big bed had a folded duvet in the middle under the sheet. It felt like we were climbing a mountain. The settee in the suite was very uncomfortable and small. The bathroom had rubbish from previous occupants, although it was benind the bath, but still, i found it. The shower still had curly hairs on the walls, not from us, The afternoon tea was lovely though We found it slightly petty , that im asking at 2.45 if our room was ready, to be told no it wasnt ,I sayd so in 15 min it will be and she said yes, I found that really petty

The hotel looks good from the outside, and the public areas like bar and restaurant were modern and welcoming. However, that’s about where it ends, the room was a little dated, hallways scruffy and the pool and spa is need for modernisation. The steam room has a smell and is dark and dingy, the sauna is unloved. Overall I felt the hotel wasn’t overly clean, a lot of dust in areas and a general sense of lack of care. The food in restaurant however, was very good and presented well. The menu was interesting and featured nice options. At the price I paid, I wouldn’t stay again, it would need to be cheaper. £122 for a superior room where the toilet fan was noisy and the floor creaked, the bed hard and the bathroom shower with black marks, is a little overpriced. There are other options in the town at a similar price for better quality.
