Great hotel for a weekend getaway
We had a brilliant 1 night stay with our kids to enjoy the Christmas festivities in Bournemouth. The hotel is clean with modern decor and the room was well appointed and the bed was really comfy. Our kids especially loved the pool. The hotel is well situated close to the beach and town centre. The car park was on the expensive side so we opted to park in the road which was free. Breakfast was well stocked with lots of options and the same can be said for the bar although drinks were quite expensive. This was our second stay at this hotel and we really enjoyed it.

Lovely clean rooms. Nice cosy bar and restaurant setting. The only negative comment would be the breakfast which was not of good quality and not much warm alternatives for a vegetarian.

A very uncomfortable experience, possibly bedbugs
I was allocated room 74 for my stay. After being asleep for about 30 minutes I woke up with incredibly itchy and red arms. I experienced significant discomfort due to the uncontrollable itching. The staff were very good and switched my room, where after taking a shower the itching subsided and I was eventually able to get some sleep. I am not allergic to anything that I know of and have never had an experience like this before (I stay frequently in hotels due to work, most days of most weeks since 2018). I am waiting on a response from the hotel but I believe that bedbugs were the most likely cause. The staff at the front desk took my email address and mobile number in the morning when I checked out so I will see what develops from my experience. Regardless of the outcome though, I wouldn’t risk staying at the hotel again. The discomfort I experienced due to the itching was horrible to endure. It’s still uncomfortable and tender to the touch nearly 24 hours later.

Hotel is lovely, really nice rooms and great hotel staff who are always happy to help. Restaurant was really bad. Restaurant staff unfriendly and not helpful. Avoid the food and drinks. Table next to us also complained about their drink.

The location is good, however, the onsite parking is expensive and awkward to use. I requested a room away from road noise. Room 91 is on the 4th floor and exposed to traffic on the carriageway adjacent to the property. The room was well appointed. With ample heat, however flies were unsettling. The onclusive breakfast was poor. All staff were lovely - however it was a dissapointing stay.

Spa weekend trip
Lovely getaway style hotel, we stayed in a deluxe room which was lovely, clean airy and fresh. The spa was great (the main reason why we chose this hotel) had a very relaxing time, we had an issue at the hotel which was out of their control but Sam on reception swiftly dealt with it, we ate in the restaurant before we left for me the food was over priced and not that great quality however everyone has different taste when it comes to food, but apart from that we will be returning to this hotel…

The property is in the perfect location, in town and on the beach. Our room was spacious clean/tidy in all respects. All the staff we interacted with....at breakfast, at dinner the lounge/bar as well as on the front desk were amazing. We had booked 2 nights and decided to stay another night, because it was such a nice place.

Overall stay was ok, it’s a perfect location and a lovely hotel, buffet breakfast is fab. We stayed for 2 nights but had them on separate bookings, advised the receptionist when we checked in and we were advised that they had tallied them together and we can stay in the same room. On our 2nd day after going for a walk we couldn’t get in our room so had to go to the reception to get the room key activated again! Also we had put the sign on the door to say we didn’t need cleaners that day, twice they just walked into the room, one was the cleaner and the other one just came in to say we should have checked out by now! Bit of a shambles really and the sign that we put on the door offered a discount in the restaurant if you didn’t need cleaners, never did get the discount!
