Good family hotel

The hotel is a little dated but is clean and comfortable. Having an indoor swimming pool is a real plus for days when the weather rules out a dip in the sea. Room service came every day. Overall excellent value for money and would stay here again when visiting Bournemouth

We stayed in family room. For the price we paid was excellent. Room big enough for 2 adults and 2 children. A very big plus - free parking and a swimming pool for rainy day.

I was shocked that for a drink I was directed to a pub up the road and for food again up the road to an italian pizza place. I did get a good nights sleep in a comfortable room and parking was not a problem.

I try to stay at Laguna when I visit Bournemouth. It is generally a nice hotel and a pleasant stay. However, because it is January and not very many people staying they did not have the basement bar open and of course no entertainment there which I do enjoy when they have it.

Noisy but cheap and cheerful

A bus full of people turned up at midnight and woke us- could hear everything they did above us and the bathroom door next to us. Pool and parking a nice touch and was relatively cheap for location but we didn’t have a good nights sleep

The Laguna hotel bournemouth

We stayed on 12th February 2025 in room 35. The hotel is very traditional. The lady at check-in was friendly helpful and kind. The hotel has a swimming pool which was lovely and warm. The room and shower room were clean. Free parking on site a huge bonus. Breakfast was delicious everything cooked perfectly. It was in a huge traditional staffed dining room. The Laguna is about five minutes stroll to Bournemouth town centre through two underpasses. Location brilliant for the town centre. We would definitely stay again. Its old fashioned quirky and we loved it. Good value too.

over all a good choice of hotel at a good rate, my second time at the leguna excellent for me to visit my son at uni. Unfortunately I was unable to get the radiator to heat properly the thermostat was on 5 but only warm to the touch, the pipe leading to the radiator was very hot, but the rooms temperature was OK. I could have contacted reception? thanks

The property is dated, but for the price, the rooms are adequate, big bed quite comfy, nice en suite, clean. Free parking on site, which is a bonus. I'm glad we chose this hotel, no complaints.

The rooms are comfortable with good linen and pillows. The style is dated as are the bathrooms but the place is cheap and cheerful and the kids love the pool which is always nice and warm.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone by one simple and important fact about how dirty the toilet was very dirty, had to go shop and buy bleach to clean it before using or allowing my kids to use it, as I was cleaning the toilet there was food pieces ( looked like vomit ) it was just bad for a hotel standard. Staff was really welcoming and friendly loved that.

Good value if you're not too fussy.

An older style hotel, close to town centre. A little on the noisy side at times, but we got a very good price and overall it was fine.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Very dated and the locks on the doors were very old style. Bed was awful wobbled hard creaky. Paper thin walls you could hear everything for miles

Being on the ground floor, the room above had very creaky floorboards and was very noisy, had to put toilet paper in my ears so i could sleep. Have stayed here several times but always been on an upper floor. Will bring earplugs next time incase
