Out of downtown but close enough

The location is perfect. Close enough to the action of town but far enough that it is quiet and you can hear the stream. The fresh made breakfast is very nice but is only offered on the weekend. The rooms are newly renovated with a rustic feel. I would stay here again.

Visiting Mammoth Cave trip

Nice clean room. Waffles good but no oatmeal or any toast or pastries. Don’t eat at nearby Watermill Restaurant. Awful buffet and run down building. Hotel nice quiet location off I-65. Stop at Buc-ee’s down the highway 20 minutes

Beds was firm, but comfortable. The gotel was clean and staff were friendly. Thecair conitioner fan was very loud and annoying. Breakfast was below average -waffle station, cold cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee. Bagels and cream cheese or muffins would have been nice.

Before trip was booked, I called into the number provided and gave the room description names shown to the man on the phone, and asked which room to book in order to get the room with the whirlpool tub? King Suit. Boom, done booked and a message sent reminding of the WANT for the whirlpool. Of course, when we show, they did not give us a whirlpool room as reserved. The physical property said they can't do a thing about it since we booked with Expedia. When you go to Expedia, you say contact property directly. No one fixed the problem. On top of that, one blanket had very visible blood stains and another blanket with something on it. Every time we needed to enter the room, it took about 4 minutes, because it would only work every 100th time we put the keycard in. A male employee working early morning made my husband feel very uncomfortable by telling him he's in the CIA, weird thing's he's done and mentioned two other men may show up and start wondering around aimlessly looking at things. Very, very disappointed in our whole stay.
