Check-in was quick and easy, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. The room was comfortable with a nice bed, microwave, and mini fridge. Breakfast was included and the hotel also offers laundry facilities, which was convenient. There’s a McDonald’s right next door and plenty of dining options within a 5–10 minute drive. On the downside, there were quite a few homeless people behind the hotel, and the foot traffic made the area feel less safe. The Wi-Fi required frequent logins, and the bathtub drained very slowly. Overall, a decent stay for the price, but the surroundings could be improved.

Most Comfort Inns in Montana are shady. If you’re ever in Livingston, MT, and that’s your only option, keep driving and sleep in your car somewhere. Same goes for this one in Billings Montana. Not only did they allow a traveling high school sports team take over the hotel, but to the point that’s some poor older woman was having a mental health crisis about it in the lobby. And the staff’s solution was to just ignore her. She terrorized anyone who came in through the front doors. I watched as she accosted two teen boys who were just sitting quietly waiting for their parents to park the car. I watched as she almost got physical with their dad later when he tried to deescalate. The police were never called. We ended up leaving that night because that woman was terrifying and we went and stayed at a new hotel near Shiloh crossing.

Excellent price point. Clean, well-stocked room. Freeway noise was expected. Constant train horns all night were not. The WiFi router didn't reach my room. The front desk dude was less than cordial. There's a rough crowd hanging out in front at 7AM. I won't be back.
