I'm a Livingston local who commutes to Bozeman for my government work, and when I have to stay overnight in town for whatever reason, this is my favorite place. I love the midcentury charm, the staff has always been friendly, and the rooms comfortable - all while being relatively affordable (that is, between tourist seasons, during which I would avoid staying anywhere as a local). I can't overemphasize the good value for the sweet vintage vibes. Knowing what I know, it would be neglectful of me to not mention that the street Sapphire is located on is not especially well-regarded. However, it is far enough from the epicenter of problems on 7th and I have not once had a problem here. When dangerous driving weather rolls through, I will always check here first for availability!

I had a quick trip - only two nights but staff was friendly and the room was very clean and though the motel itself had clearly been there for quite some time had been well taken care of and maintained. It had a kitschy 1950s atmosphere (in the best way) which I enjoyed.

We needed one night having extended our stay in Bozeman on a whim. So glad we found this place! The midcentury decor is the star at this revamped motel and the thoughtful touches really make the stay special. There are signs in the room explaining the history of the property, and there is evident pride of ownership in this family-run business. Walkable to the main street with shops and restaurants, though we just ordered a pizza and stayed in. Amazing value for money, and the cleanliness is impeccable. I wish I could clone this place for cities I visit more often!

This was a very family friendly property. I loved the double room. It fit our family of 6 perfectly. A little older in the style and ammenities but the kids loved it. Only downfall was the location wasnt in the best part of town.

Normally I’m a Marriott only kind of gal, but I love this great little restored motor inn. Spot on in their attention to detail to mid-century appointments. Beds are super comfortable and rooms are spacious. Only issue for us was the slow/low wifi in our room. Needed to turn it off and use data on our phones most of the time. This is my second stay here, and I will definitely stay again!
