Don’t go to the nightclub
Check in was quick and easy. The hotel has had a makeover since we last stayed and we were extremely impressed. The lounge area has been modernised. I thought the bar was a bit small for the size of the lounge. The bedroom was a really good size with lots of lovely mirrors and pretty good lighting (for a hotel). Nice spacious bathroom. Everywhere was really clean. The only problem we had was the nightclub. We went there to see a dj from back in the day so all the attendees were slightly older than your average nightclubber. Security treated us like kids, searching our bags and we had to have id?? Won’t be going there again. However we can’t fault the hotel and would highly recommend it.

Very dated rooms. In the suites aparr from the double bed addition guests sleep on camp beds. Rooms are also very dark even with the limited lighting on. Food from bar was horrendous and expensive apart from being inedible. Tables not being cleared in a timely mannor and food bits left after a so called clean. @ £225 a night for the suite it was a very expensive stay(£500 for 2 nights) for what was a very unpleasent stay. Will difinatly not be returning. Sadly!

Great after update, but gym small & claustrophobic
The hotel has been updated and it's a huge improvement from the previously dated rooms and facilities. The room was spacious, clean and had all the needed amenities. The gym was very small and quite claustrophobic but it had good equipment. Breakfast I found basic and some of the restaurant staff were a little cold. Overall a decent stay and I would return on another business trip.

Lovely hotel if you don't mind noise
A lovely hotel with very helpful staff but a lack of sleep from the night club in the basement spoilt the experience and we were located on the top 4th floor! It appears the night club operates Friday and Saturday nights until 2.30am so if you're not into night night life I would suggest somewhere else would be better.
