Very Good

Absolutely stunning Georgian mansion converted to a hotel and winery. Separate glass roofed dining pavilion.
Beautiful views across the valley from the large windows. One amazing place! You feel like landed gentry staying here (but the price was very reasonable)
A must do if you are travelling through this area and not far from Bath.
I do not understand why country hotels that have lots of weddings put non-wedding guests right next to the entertainment! Especially as we booked well in advance. The noise banged through the room walls; & the guests all came outside the venue right underneath our window to argue, throw up & generally shout at each other all the way into the small hours (both nights we were there). Dining options were limited (early closing restaurant & room service was 'crisps'). Room had no central heating just an electric radiator that crackled when turned on so needed turning off to sleep. On asking if they had another room we were shown a different one that stank of damp & was right by the front door with headlights coming through from the cars & noise from the neighbouring room, so we declined. Parking was pretty tight to get a spot. Breakfast was the highlight. When checking-out I offered feedback & was invited to leave my email address so the manager could write to me. I've had no contact.

Oh dear!
Our room was okay until the boiler started up - then being woken up not so okay!!
I really wanted to love this place, we booked on the night and really liked the look of the place however, we stayed during a heatwave (27degrees) no air conditioning and the window only opened a slight bit so was really hot! With the window open you could hear noise from the road and cars in the carpark.
Also the bedsheets felt weird to touch and there was a slight smell of urine which was quite noticeable and unpleasant.
A well located period property set in lovely grounds with a stunning view of the Wiltshire countryside. The bedroom was comfortable and the bar and restaurant area were perfectly acceptable. The toilet in the bedroom bathroom did not flush properly and the shower head could do we descaling. Otherwise a very nice comfortable stay.
Lovely room and decent tea/coffee and towels! Hot breakfast was nice, limited selection of continental. Beautiful views and grounds.

Nice old hotel
Convenient for Bradford on Avon. Our room was double aspect and big. Comfy bed and lovely views. Hotel has nice grounds and we had a drink on the terrace one evening. First night our room was not serviced. The duty manager kindly attended to our room straight away and did a great job. It was not explained at check in that cleaning is on request. The matter was quickly & professionally resolved. It's a nice old hotel in a great location but some areas could do with an update. All in all I would stay again as the room was large, plenty of parking and a short walk to Bradford on Avon.
After a day in Bath, I chose the Leigh Park so as not to pay for parking. How much more I got! The beautiful setting and nice room was a calming place after more than three weeks of travel. After an early breakfast, we could easily reach our next destination, Stonehenge.
Normally it’s great but had to sit in the bar for breakfast and there was a wedding and felt pushed out as there were no seats inside or the garden for hotel guests
The premises were quiet and within walking distance of the town centre.
The staff were pleasant and our room was comfortable.
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay.
It was nice to stay in a historic property. The location also provides a beautiful, scenic drive to warm one up before going to Bath, with easy access just outside the historic area of Bradford on Avon.
Pleasant stay. Staff very friendly. Had a meal which was excellent. Would have preferred not to have our tea and coffee from an urn at breakfast and no option to watch a Euro football match in a communal area.
