I've actually stayed in this hotel before. I needed a last minute place to sleep and this was my only reputable place available. I'd say overall the room was fine. The only negative was my bed smelled like urine in a spot. I believe an animal probably urinated and it dried and wasn't cleanup up or something. I noticed it at first but couldn't figure out what it was. But since I checked in at 1am and was exhausted, I just dealt with it. So that was gross. I didn't like the breakfast. I didn't check out anything else, as I simply needed a place to sleep. Plus when I arrived at 1am, there were people in the parking lot drinking and smoking and having a party, which I thought was weird. But it's Brady...so maybe they have limited options as well.

Air conditioner did not cool properly. Refrigerator was running extremely loudly, so we moved the tv cabinet to unplug it. We believe the plug was overloaded, and not up to fire code. This was a normal 2 receptacle outlet with an adapter in it accommodating the tv, refrigerator, microwave, and lamp plugs.

Nothing is far away in Brady; but, on this side of town there are several good places to eat and stores that have what you need for traveling or staying a while.

This propert was very nice. Howefer, i did not realize it was an outdoor access property until the time of check in. I do not prefer to stay at properties like this when im traveling alone woth my children. If it was stated on page i did not read ot and there was vertaily not a picture of the side of the building showing the rooms were putside access. Otyerwise, everything was well represented as advertised. Kids lived swiming in the pool, Breakfast was nice and rooms were great.

AC not working in Texas in June!
The first thing to check in your room is the air conditioner. Does it work? No it did not. It was not functioning properly. I asked the staff to check it out. They did and could not get it to work any better than I had. Because I was told they had no other rooms to offer and would not be able to fix it until the next day, I cancelled the reservation and left. This was a great inconvenience since I was in town for an event that began in an hour. I had little time to shop around with few acceptable options in Brady. Holiday Inn Express graciously made room for me.

Nice smalltown hotel
This Best Western was very clean. The breakfast was good and the dining area was very clean. The night clerk and the morning clerk were very friendly and welcoming.
