Yes, there is construction as renovations occur, but to close down business to do so is unrealistic. We really enjoyed the clean and refreshed room. Although I wish there was an option for constant fan or noise machine because I really need that hum to fall and stay asleep. If you’re looking to sleep later than 9:00 which is when the construction noise is allowed as posted, then choose elsewhere. If you’re going to be up earlier than that, need a solid breakfast, and maybe even a dip in the pool the night before in Brady, this is the place. Very conveniently located for any passers through to destinations along this long stretch of Texas Hill Country who need that “we can’t go any further today” stopover.

We were greeted with “Do you have a reservation? We are completely booked.” I asked where we could park our truck and trailer. “There is nowhere to park.” I told the man at the reception that I had to park somewhere. He directed me to the grass on the side of the property. I cautiously left my truck and trailer there for the night. It would have been nice to know the hotel was undergoing renovation.

Place is under major renovation which we weren't told about. Still charged premium price instead of discounted price with renovation going on. Parking was ridiclous because the trucks and equipment doing the renovation was parked on the premises. Hardly enough for customers.

Bad Experience in Brady
Stopped for a quick overnight during long road trip. Despite being the most expensive hotel in town, they neglected to mention they were under EXTENSIVE construction. Our room was remodeled and facially clean, but the construction dust was pervasive throughout the hotel. Night clerk seemed like he was bored and we were interrupting his web surfing at check in. Breakfast was mediocre. I hope the remodel turns out well, but it will be awhile (if ever) before I'll ever know.
