Disgusting room If I could load pictures I would Obviously some sort of bugs in between mattress and mattress cover. Found an egg, debris and possibly a larva of some sort. Needless to say, I dd not stay. I walked in, checked the bed, checked out and left. THE HOTEL REFUSES TO REDUND MY MONEY. I WAS LEFT STRANDED

It was good overall. We usually stay at higher end hotels but we were satisfied with the service abd price we got at Motel 6. We were in Brandon for the Dakota Tribal Days Hockey Tournament and most hotels up their price by $100 from their usual price which is not fair for those attending 😢.

Safety Issue and Disappointing

Check-in was fine, and the room itself was clean, but the door frame was separating from the wall and the door wasn’t set in the frame so I could see between the door and frame. Obviously as a solo female traveler, this freaked me out. I was too tired to think to take photos from inside the room but did take photos from the outside where the defects can be seen. When I went to the front desk, I was moved into a different room where I immediately smelt incense or a candle being burned in a nearby area. I reported it to the front desk, but I was told no one was staying in the rooms beside me. The smell was so strong that I had trouble sleeping and could smell it in the morning. I went to the front counter at check-out and explained how I was unhappy with the quality of my stay, especially since it’s not the first time I’ve stayed here, to which they responded they were sorry and to contact hotels.com as there was nothing they could do to reimburse me for the inconveniences I experienced. Needless to say, disappointing and not likely to stay here again.
