We brought our dog and stayed on the dog friendly floor which seemed to be more dilapidated than the rest of the hotel. It was obvious the room hadn’t been updated in several years and wasn’t cleaned well; grime in the corners of the carpet, dusty fixtures etc. We were also disappointed that the hiking that was mentioned on the website was about a mile away and across the street. They did have some green areas but mostly we walked our dog in a parking lot, although it was a large parking lot. The food was average and overpriced but the coffee from the coffee shop was great as well as most of the staff we encountered. They were friendly and provided good customer service although it did appear that they were understaffed. They also advertised EV chargers and when we called to confirm this they reported there were “many” but none visible in the parking lot upon arrival. The next day we inquired with the front desk who said the chargers were located in the parking garage which is an addition fee. Upon locating the singular, not many, EV charger in the parking garage we discovered it did not have a cord and was just an outlet so we charged offsite which was inconvenient. We did utilize the spa during our stay and that was a lovely experience with all the amenities you’d except from a higher end spa.

This is a fairy tale stay. I feel like a queen every time I come here. It is wonderful place. We had a lake view this time from our balcony. It left me in awe. We plan to come during the Christmas season which we have been before. It is amazing all decorated for the holiday season. You won’t be disappointed. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Great mattress! Service is always welcoming and helpful. It is also very quiet. I can’t say enough about this place.

We checked in, room was beautiful. Went to the outdoor pool which was so relaxing with towels available and good music. Went to dinner and their food and service were amazing. The balcony was so nice in our room. Bed was so comfortable. Nice place to unwind ❤️

The inside of the hotel was nice, old but nice. The room’s bathroom still had trash in it, there was soap scum in the shower, and the outdoor hot tub wasn’t working the 2nd day we were there. When we first arrived, the person who checked us in assumed we were married and addressed us incorrectly. We had a nice enough stay and would probably stay again but the price was pretty high for as old as the property is.

I booked the Chateau for my birthday weekend and was looking forward to staying there for the first time. It is located in such a beautiful location but sadly the outside beauty did not match the inside. My room was located on the 9th floor and was surprised to find an ugly outside view of the roof. The room had mold in the bathroom and the air filter had not been changed since November of 2022. We alerted the front desk and showed them photographs. They did not seem to be bothered by it. At checkout, I gave them a chance to do something about my unsatisfactory stay and the only thing they did was take 20 dollars off for parking. There was no apology. Just makes me sad about customer service these days. My advice is to not be fooled by the fancy name or location. The hotel is in disrepair and is understaffed. Would not recommend to stay there, even if you think you are getting a good rate.

The charged me twice for my room. I have called, left a voicemail, and emailed. It has been two weeks and no one has responded. Very poor customer service. Plus they charge a resort fee and for parking. Not worth the high rate. Other options are better in the Branson area.

This is a great great property and grew up coming here as a child. I have so many great memories of this place. As an adult, I still absolutely love this property however I would like to see them do some much needed upgrades with fixtures, beds etc. that would be the only improvement I think this place needs. Will stay again!

My wife and i loved the area and the scenery it was beautiful there. The view of the lake from the 7th floor balcony was amazing. The breakfast was great and the staff at the hotel restaurant was so very nice and helpful
