Slow check in, toilet wouldnt flush and when we did get it to flush it would keep running. Had maintenance out 2xs to fix it. Also the a.c. didn't work well and froze up. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen does not have a lot of pans. Management didn't care that the problems occurred, just wanted to know if it was fixed.

Several damages around the property such as the outline of the balcony had fallen off in several places. Upon using the jets in the bathtub there was mold and dirt that came from the jets. Our closet door was broken and had a piece of wood sticking out. There was stains on our curtains. The TV’s were just a bit larger than an IPad. It was troublesome when laying in bed and trying to watch TV. The shower was so small it was hard to turn around in. The light in the laundry area was burnt out. The TV in the living room was very far away and very close to the front door. Overall it was a mediocre experience but it was a little disappointing. I have stayed at Grand Crowne in the past and it was a lot more impressive compared to the most recent stay. 10/18-10/20/2024

Quiet time-share resort.
We have stayed at this property several times. It is centrally located and easy to drive to attractions. But it is quiet and surrounded by woods or a golf course. This keeps it away from the hustle and bustle of the main areas. The rooms are a bit dated. Generally, they are clean enough. I'm comfortable with the sheets and towels being clean. There is some dust behind the doors and windows. The kitchen is small and would be hard to cook for a large family, but we did fine with just two of us. The indoor pool is nice. What appears to be a very nice outdoor pool is under construction. There was a very hard sell to take a timeshare tour at check-in. This was the only major downside to the stay. We will stay here again.

Check in was easy and the staff very nice! Check out was even easier, done with a call. They are upgrading the property and doing an excellent job. Every employee we came into contact with greeted us and asked how our stay was going, did we need anything. This keeps us coming back.

Our bathroom was dirty built up dirt in corners, hair on the floor (not one or two missed one's multiple all over near the tub). the ac was set at 71 and we couldnt get the temp above 64 (was 62 at first).we had to turn the heat on and the smell was so bad we couldnt leave it on (probably due to being first time turned on in months). our toilet did not flush well and backed up way too easily. We had to call maintence for this.(he was very kind and quick but did plunge a toilet and then carried the plunger dripping uncovered back throughout the room and out w him) eventually just flushed in the middle of finishing up and then flushing a 2nd time to avoid it from backing up. from what ive been told they are remodeling so hopefully will improve. The room overall seemed clean, bed was comfy pull out couch mattress was clean and decent, other than bathroom seemed clean. Walls are very thin. The pool was huge and had 2 hot tubs we really enjoyed this and the play area for kids, theyre building an outdoor pool area too which will be nice. Be prepared upon check in they will give you your room keys then send you to "concierge" to get a parking pass which is ultimately a gimmick to get you to go to a timeshare pitch for some free stuff. Overall the price paid for the few days we stayed was ok since we were out most of the time.

Everything you could possibly want for business or vacation travel, family adventures, you name it. Actually, so MUCH more than that EVEN. It's not JUST that the staff makes your stay so comfortable, it's ALSO, that the accomodations themselves are nothing short of perfect, EVERY UNIT, EVERY TIME. And greedy, so affordable. Capital Vacations and their Resorts are shear perfection, no matter where you go. I recommend them to everyone, even on my own websites for the charities. Charlie.

This place sucked for us..
When we got there, off the road for 6 hours, i got badgered by a kid to sign up for a tour of condos they have for sale. I said no, he then went on trying to sell me on future stays. He wouldnt take no for answer. I hate that. Anyway, our room ac was stuck on. And the heater only randomly worked. We didnt find this out until Saturday night at 8pm when everyone was closed down. There was a greasy butt print on our top sheet. And then we were put my the housecleaning room and they woke us up beating on the window. Ive had better stays at cheaper places. We wont be back there.
