Everything was great except the fact that each time we went to use the elevator it wad either occupied or usually took a long time to come up to the floor requested forcing to use the stairs when toting heavy luggage bags up and down the stairs leading to the room

About the same room as a Super 8.

We booked through Hotels.com. I made the mistake of coming down a day early. We ended up paying 3 times our booked rate for 1 night. We had to wait for them to clean a room, which would be understandable if the parking area was full but there was about 3 cars in the lot for our room. The bathtub was not clean, probably because the drain was slow. They talked us into a time share presentation that was supposed to be 2 hours but was 3 hours long. We asked for the room to be tidied up but was told they would not clean the room until we checked out. It was a no frills room, bed, tv and bathroom (that's what I booked) but there was a drawer that you couldn't open because there was trim in front of it. There was also no closet to hang clothes in.

We enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, as well as the hot tub. The small store (MarketPlace) was convenient and had social areas to enjoy the food/snacks bought there. The staff was helpful and friendly. There was a hiking path that looked interesting, but the rainy weather kept us from exploring it. I will definitely consider this property again.

Cold Bubble Tub-no hot tub

Beautiful location. Although they couldn't control the bad weather during our stay, they could've warned us the Hot Tub wasn't heated as the element was broken so it was a cold bubble tub instead which was disappointing. The Ozark Fun House was great though, and indoor pool was warm. The room we stayed in was damp and smelled musty but was clean-ish. We could hear everyone above and beside us but we enjoyed our stay.
