Hotel is very clean, the room is very comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. I would stay here again, and I’ll highly recommend it!

I solo traveled here for my graduation. Firstly, the doors and windows were janky I had to move rooms 3x when I finally got a room it was in the main hotel (not what I booked). The room I booked was in the jungle so I could not risk my window or doors not working. Food was okay, the location was beautiful and directly on the beach which I loved. Staff was kinda helpful. I didn’t like that they asked if I would sleep in the room where the windows did not lock until the morning. Overall I give the property 3/5. Also there’s no a/c but it was not that hot with the fans.

The staff at the Beachfront Bungalows were very accommodate. The food was excellent. Customer service was on a different level…” Pura Vida” And to culminate my stay , they were offering free peticure to celebrate Mother’s Day . It was a most excellent stay.

Lovely, family owned property. The only thing that would have been helpful would be to have more room amenities such as mini fridge, microwave, hangers, more towels… etc. Property is clean, close to everything in Puerto Viejo, within walking distance to the beach, has a good breakfast, and staff is very friendly.
