Best location and best service

Rooms were not cleaned on arrival. A phone call to the inn keeper was successful in getting someone to come out immediately to clean the guest house. For the price of this rental, the property was tired and rundown. The shower overflowed/leaked. The kitchen was nice even though we did not use it.

I would have given a higher rating to the staff but it only goes to five stars. Every single request was met with a yes and some yeses were offered before an actual ask! They were helpful, courteous and professional. I highly recommend staying here when in Reykjavik.

The main reason I booked this property is because it was listed as having parking onsite. This property does not have parking. Parking is on the street and you have to park 3-4 blocks away. Was not refunded for the parking I had to pay for.

We arrived from the cruise ship and were grateful to be able to leave our bags at the desk so they did not have to stay in the car while we were out sight seeing for the day
