Not worth the extra fees

This place has no free parking, they will force to use Valet Parking for 55$/night. Valet guys are awesome but they just to take your vehicle under the building. Also, $45 Resort Fees per day? It should be disclosed on the original price or when you check-in. Pretty much, you need to plan on adding an additional one-hundred dls per night. Lastly, if you want to sleep in the mornings, this is not your place. You can hear every door in the hotel SLAMMING so hard when they close, it’s impossible to get a rest at any time. On top of that, the hotel workers start their shift at 4am, so you can hear every door closing at the end of the hallway.

I rarely ever give 5 stars for hotels but this one stands out! The staff make you feel like you are a familiar permanent resident. They provide free shuttle services anywhere you need to go. The rooms are amazing and the views are breathtaking. You won’t regret this reservation.

Everything was clean, open and spacious, staff worked hard and was very helpful and kind, especially the gentleman that was handling luggage and valet. Our waittress at Edwin went above and beyond to make our experience great and even offered to take us down to the Canary despite telling us that it was only open for event only. Emily was so kind and decided to keep the bar open for us to celebrate my friends birthday and served us 2 rounds of drinks. She really didn't have to work later just for us but not only she do so, she was very knowledgeable and friendly and really made our night that much more memorable. I have one complaint that I do not like being blindsided when businesses aren't up front with charges. We were parked to check in and one of the workers just shuffled us to move forward with valet and I wasn't sure if it was a part of the service or how much etc. until we checked in and I asked the front desk who then gave up parking options. We opted in with valet but if I had not asked, I would not have known about the $55 valet charge. Secondly, after I checked out, I got charged $45 for use of amenities when we didn't utilize any of it. To check out and leave feeling blindsided by that fee was upsetting. Overall, our experience was positive. Great location, the shuttle was convenient to take us into town but it was such a short walk and completely safe to do, and we were accessible to food and shops.

Summer vacation.

The hotel is very nice. The room was wonderful. Bed was comfortable. Close to downtown Breckenridge. Valet parking is very congested and very slow. WARNING…they charge $95 a day/night to park there. Absolutely ridiculousness !! Absolutely no reason to charge such an over rated inflated gouging expense when there are no other parking options. I recommend you find an Air B&B or VRBO personally. It is the reason I will never return to the hotel and I am an Hilton Member.

When I arrived, told we couldn’t park to check in unless we were using valet parking. Valets wouldn’t tell me where I could park though so that was confusing. Had to pay to park across the street. Then my room wasn’t available at check in time. They gave us chocolates and told us sorry. Had to wait over 2 more hours to check in. Was exhausted from driving all day and had a dog with me (dog did get a ball, treats and waste bags with the $75/night fee). Then had to walk forever to get to room as elevator was at the very end of the hotel. Room was wonderful although it overlooked a barren hill and the hot tubs, which were noisy until late at night. Staff, other than valets, were very friendly and nice. Not sure if I would stay here again.

The rooms are spacious and great. The only issue was the shower door was not sealed correctly even though I had to face the shower head towards the wall, so it won't knock on the door. Also, there is no public parking and forced to use the valet if you have alot of items to carry into the hotel.

The room was very nice and the staff was amazing! Only issue we had was the A/C couldnt go lower than 68 degrees so it was not as comfortable when it was time to sleep. Too warm for our liking. The A/C vent also made a rattling noise all night with random humming noises as well. Difficult to sleep through the night. We would stay here again but maybe when the weather is cooler!

Friend getaway

Amazing staff. We were approached several times a day by staff asking if they could do anything for my friend and I. Really amazing. Your shuttle to stops downtown was very convenient and the outside shuttle and valet staff were just great. Definitely would recommend your place.

We had never been to this hotel before. We paid through Expedia. When we got there they charged us an additional $55 per night stating there is nowhere else to park over night AND on top of this, they charge $45 dollars per night in a property charge. The cost we paid through Expedia should have noted the additional 315$. In addition it took 2 elevators and miles of walking to get to our room. Our room key didn’t work when we got there and we had to walk back and forth 3 times to get it fixed and the numerous elevators. The ice machines were always out of ice. What was supposed to be an amazing trip got ruined by this horrible hotel.

Wow. I expected so much more from this hotel. No one slept. Both Kong beds were terribly hard and the air con did not work. We all woke up sweating—even my teens. We had to take two different elevators to get to our room. It was insane. You took one elevator (the one farthest from the lobby) up to the 6th floor. Then get out and go down two or so hall ways to get to another elevator that would then take us down. Then to top off a night with ZERO sleep, it took over 20 minutes to get our car from valet when there was NOONE in line head of us. Extremely disappointed.

Overall the staff was excellent. The required valet parking for $55 and resort fee turns a reasonably priced room into an expensive $400 room. Access to the car was pain in ass even though the bell boys were really helpful.

Beautiful remodel throughout the hotel and very nice finishes in our room. We stayed in room 703 and there was a whistling noise that came on every hour or so and woke us up throughout the night. Might’ve been associated with the HVAC. Room is also very warm when set to the lowest temperature and cannot open windows due to a couple dozen air-conditioning units outside of our window.
