Jump on the free ski shuttle for a day on the slopes before returning to River Mountain Lodge by Breckenridge Hospitality for a drink at the bar/lounge and comforts including an outdoor pool and a steam room. Each apartment provides a dryer and a microwave, plus a coffee/tea maker and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Wonderful location, convenient parking on property. They stored our bikes for us with no extra charge. The only thing I would change is we did not have a patio/ balcony which we would have enjoyed, next time we would be sure to request one. The staff was very helpful and we could walk everywhere or take the free city transportation.

It was like staying in a dorm room. There was not even a table to drink tea in the morning. I was on the second floor. At 8 am there were guys with extension ladders coming up on my patio to paint. I understand these guys are working but I’m only there for 2 days. Can’t you give an old lady a little bit of privacy. The whole place was way below expectations.

We were very pleased with the location of River Mountain Lodge! It was so easy to walk to dinner or shops and even a trailhead. We were always able to find parking in the garage when we stayed in September. What I didn’t love was that I thought I booked a specific room based on the pictures I saw and thought I was booking a room with a river balcony. When we got to our room the bedroom was upstairs and the bathroom was downstairs with a balcony on the street. I spoke with the people at the front desk who I must say were very kind but informed me all rooms are different and no river balconies were left. They were able to move us to a room that was all one floor thankfully, but I’m baffled that you don’t get the room you think you’re booking. Our room had rather worn down furniture with fraying carpet however it was clean enough. Overall I don’t think I would stay again unless there is a way to actually view and book the room I want.

The property does not have AC. On our last day the smoke alarm in our room randomly started going off at 6:30 AM. The property staff had to return twice to get the things out, which continued going off in their office. Not the best way to end our vacation, but the staff tried very hard to make the best of it.

Close walking to shopping, restaurants, and shuttle to visit Isak Heartstone the Troll. Breckenridge is so beautiful. The hotel also offered free parking in their garage.

Love staying here. Would stay again. Super convenient walking distance to Main Street. Parking was great and Protected. Multiple hot tubs was awesome. Only complainants would be wanting a lock on the screen door so we could sleep with cool air in the room, and one window was broken so we weren’t able to open it.

The room we reserved had pictures showing an updated kitchen, balcony overlooking the river, bedroom with sliding doors and a balcony. The room we got had an outdated kitchen, balcony overlooking a busy street, and a loft bedroom with no window or bathroom. To top it off there was no AC and the bedroom was about 85 degrees when we got there. It didn't cool down to sleeping temp until after midnight. They should be kicked off Expedia for lying about the property.

The room was not special but there was nothing wrong with it either. Nice room in a high rise hotel. There is a parking garage underneath where you can only have one car per room. Right in downtown Breckenridge you can leave your car and walk the restaurants and stores. Once you go in and check in you have to park in the garage before you take elevators to your room to unload your luggage
