Perfectly located, clean and smooth stay

This was a great place to stay for the purposes of our trip. We went there to explore the city, the restaurants, the attractions, and we wanted a place that was well located and would make our stay easier. This is what we got, the room was spacious and had many things, like a fridge, a microwave, and a kitchenette (this one we did not use but we liked we had it)

Excellent value

This is an older hotel. However, it is maintained meticulously, and always meets my needs when I am in Brenham. Second time to stay and will be back.

I understand that this is a pet friendly property, which is a good thing, but I should not have to be in a room that smells like an overused litterbox. Many aspects of this motel are quite nice, given the obvious age of the place, but cleanliness is not something to be skipped.

Upon arrival, we didn’t have to use a key to enter the room. The door just pushed open. Then the ac was off and the room was showing 90*. It did not cool off comfortably until late in the night. As I went to close the door to the restroom I realized the door would not close without some work. Sheets were rough as well. We did not even stay our second night.
