I booked thru Expedia. They offered several room options. Many were described exactly the same except that some had a reference to "Non Smoking" in the title. These cost approximately $20 more than those that had no reference to smoking anywhere in the description. Our assumption was that these allow smoking. We opted for the non smoking room even though it cost $20 more. On arrival we learned that there were in fact no rooms that allowed smoking. I feel we were tricked into paying $20 more than necessary. We booked under these conditions twice so feel we should be reimbursed $40. Note we could find no reference to the smoking policy anywhere on the site. However, the actual Microtel Website does mention they are a 0 smoke free hotel and each room listed notes that it is Smoke Free - unlike the Expedia site.

Nice newer hotel. Very convenient location. Staff seemed friendly. The continental breakfast was ok. There were a couple restaurants within 5 min walking distance that were very good. It was quite as well. I heard someone walking maybe 2 in the room above me but other than that we didn’t hear much. Highly recommend.

Property was a typical Microtel. Simple and clean. The breakfast only hot serving was biscuit and gravy, the Breakfast of Champions, to say the least. Bread was only bagels. Bread for toast and at least some sort of egg offering would have been nice to have. Others have a scrambled egg and sausage which helps one with a diabetic diet restriction.
